The choice of the dishes is quite good. All off them are suitable for vegetarian. The dishe I oredred was very tasty, the portion is good - it was quite enough for one person. The atmosphere is quite relaxed and the music is vey good. The restaurant moved just month ago to a new location and I wish the owner... More

This restaurant serves 100% plant based dishes. We had the wok dish which was pretty good. If you like spicy get it hot since it's not too hot at all. The food was ok, a little on the sour side and we usually like lots of sauce. They offer a nice selection of vegan pasta dishes.

The food was delicious! The variety of items that you can choose from was wonderful. So often when going to a vegetarian or vegan restaurant, you are limited to a few dishes, but that was not the case here! You will not be disappointed! And of course - don't forget dessert!

I loved everything about my meal! The diner atmosphere was fun, the service impeccable, and the food delicious! It was a great price too for the amount and quality. It's a little ways from the city center but worth it--especially as it's a short light-rail trip and located steps from the 900 South stop.

Vegetarian and organic. The Pesto Sub and Philly Cheeze Steak were yummy and very filling. The atmosphere was comfortable and not rushed. We enjoyed lunch tremendously.

Our daughter is vegan, but we are not -- but whenever we go to SLC we go to some of her favorite vegan restaurants -- and Sage's Cafe is one of those places. We started with the polenta fries and classic pommes frites. WOW! The pommes frites were the best -- they seemed to be hand cut, and were fried... More

I met friends here who are comfortable eating Vegan...I have never had Vegan food, but I enjoyed the tacos so much that I didn't realize that I wasn't eating meat. The restaurant is very basic, but the food is so much more than that!

Summary: Low expectations on this one. But the reality is that the food, service and beer/wine list are excellent, and you'll be amazed at the quality of what you eat. Review: Usually quick to dismiss restaurants that have an interior design ethic that is as spartan as Sage's, I sat down in a "diner" booth with leatherette (red plastic?) prepared... More

We had a wonderful meal! Tuesdays are "Pizza Night," which we knew about from having eaten at Sage's sister restaurant, The Vertical Diner. While we noticed other patrons enjoying their pizza meals, we decided to order off the menu because there so many other excellent choices. We ordered the Korean jackfruit tacos and the Tempeh Cubano, both delicious. The restaurant... More

Any vegan/vegetarian restaurant is hard to find in any city, let alone an excellent one, but Sage is certainly that. Actually, Sage is simply one of the best I have been to anywhere. First, there were at least five or six things that sounded great and I could have ordered. I started with the lettuce wraps with the tempeh. Very... More
