I've been driving by this place for a long time and there were always a lot of cars parked next to it, which is usually a good sign. The bakery is much larger inside than it appears from the street. I picked up two strudels...an apple and a cream cheese. Both were excellent. They were $3 each, but were large... More

We stopped in both days we were in town. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! The staff was very nice even when we weren't sure what we wanted since there was so much to choose from. The quiches were delicious and all the pastries were so yummy! I will definitely go to this place anytime I'm in the area.

I was looking forward to grabbing some delicious, Deutch-inspired breakfast items. There was indeed a widespread variety of breads, pastries and sandwiches. Some of them were supposedly baked in the early hours of the morning. I tried their chocolate croissant and some coffee. The croissant was an affront to french food. It was hard ( must have been baked a... More

We had 2 coffees, 1 apple strudel, and 1 lemon cream cheese strudel. The coffee has a funny off taste, the apple strudel was above average, and the lemon cream cheese strudel was just ok. This was $11 with tax (2 more with tip).

visited on the recommendation of the local hotel ... the pastries were very good and classic German style (although upsized for American expectations) ... had hoped for a latte that was not merely pushing a button on a machine like your fast food eatery

I remember thinking, "What would you get in a German bakery?" as I drove by for years without checking it out. I seriously regret not finding out! Wonderful strudels and pretzels (yes, soft pretzels in all forms, including a ham and cheese breakfast pretzel), Ruben sandwiches with fresh bread, and much more. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

This was unique. They did have a truly European feel in the selections. One can go with pastries or order from the grill menu. The coffee was excellent as was all of the food. Very happy.
