I had the fish tacos and the lettuce was wilted and the fish was not very tasty.... I feel bad because I never write bad reviews but that food was the worse ever. The service was great tho!

My wife and I made a trip to brownsville, the first since moving away over three years ago. One of the first things on our agenda was to plan a trip to our favorite restaurant for fried shrimp, the oyster bar ll on paredes line rd. We both ordered fried shrimp and they were delicious. The interior of the restaurant... More

Interior good decor if you are into the 80's, everybody at our table had delicious looking meals, but I ordered the fish tacos, cheapest on menu, and they forget the fish! However, the rolls are to die for!

We were driving back to Weslaco after visiting a magical day at Boca Chico beach on the Gulf. Thinking that seafood would be a nice treat we saw this restaurant from the road. A sign to the left of the door indicated an award received. The restaurant was a bit smelly and not just from fish. Locals eat here and... More

The food was not at all fresh or good at all the manager was very rude and outspoken trying to make us pay for food and smelt and taste spoiled and telling the waitress to make sure we pay for the food that we send back

This establishment has been around for many years and always has great service and great seafood. Have enjoyed coming here with my parents and sons. The establishment also offers beer and drinks.

What in the world is this place? I wanted to run right when I entered. It smeeled like fish and looked like a parody of a bad seafood place powder blue vinyl booths and plastic lobsters suspended from fishing line hanging over the tables. The salads came warm on the side of the plate with 2 choices of pre made... More

The shrimp is great. Service was good. The salad and rolls were just okay.

Four of us ate there and no one liked their meal. I tasted my cousins and it was like eating cardboard, oh those were breaded shrimp? Could have fooled me! My shrimp were marginally better. The dinner came with salad, only two choices of dressing, bread, and french fries. We all substituted baked potatoes for the fries. They were okay.... More
