This is just a wonderful southeastern restaurant, a jewel in Brownsville!!. The service is candid and friendly matching up with the quality of the food. When you get in the restaurant you are treated like family. The chilli and salsa are out of this world....More

Had a business lunch at this location. I had the enchiladas (cheese). The sauce was spicy. The chips and salsa was good. Loved the charro beans and rice. The staff was nice and considerate. Overall great lunch and atmosphere.

This place if small and was crowded when we were there. its an older building but the food was good. No real complaints except they only have beer and no alcohol or margaritas.

The service is horrible, the staff is rude. and the place does NOT have it's ole time feel to it...Every since the previous owner retired it is NOT the same!! Don't even bother asking for the Manager or owner...STUCK UP IDIOT!!

The service was great! I loved that the retried beans were homemade and not from a can. Also the taco shells were cooked from scratch. Our meal was the best!

Great place to eat. Price was spot on and the service was excellent. We had dinner there last night and will be returning in the very near future.

I can't say the exact salt content, but, because much of it is fried or contains pork or bacon,I must assume it has more salt than average.
