The meal was good. It is true Mexicana food from this area. Fresh, plenty of salsa and chips plate was full with rice and beans, tacos, enchiladas, and guacamole (Plus fresh homemade tortillas) and lemonade refreshing for a hot day in South Texas. Coffee is served with a full menu 24 hours a day by anyone's clock. Americana is available... More

Greeted and asked to sit wherever would like. The prices are great and very affordable. Ticket for 2 was under $20. We had ice tea, chips and salsa, fresh guacamole, gorditas with picadillo and carne guisada and flan. Server was excellent. Very friendly place and would definitely return. This is coffee shop #4, right before you turn right on southmost.

I've been going to Brownsville Coffee Shop since I was a teen. It never disappoints! Homemade Mexican food with some of the best flour tortillas you will ever eat. And the price is always right! Open 24 hours too.

Note, this is regarding the Brownsville Coffee Shop #2 location on International Blvd. Mexican food is what you desire and that's just what you will get at this Restaurant. Mind you, they do have a burger on the menu and that is good as well. The salsa is hot and enjoyable. The place is kept clean and the wait staff... More

Took us a while to find this place but it was worth the wait. Authentic food. Very friendly staff. It felt like we were in Mexico. Very true to the culture. Ordered a bunch of good and everything was great. The price was very reasonable too.

Good food in old fashioned diner/family restaurant atmosphere. Tortilla menu alone is worth the visit. A must see on any visit to Brownsville.

The Brownsville Coffee Shop #2 on International Boulevard is one of the best Mexican Food restaurants in Brownsville. Great service. Very clean. A place often frequented by First Responders - EMS, law enforcement, Border Patrol. A great place for coffee during a meeting, but breakfast is where this restaurant shines. The breakfast special is inexpensive, very filling, and a great... More

Stop by either #1 or #2 on International Blvd. all meals are served...breakfast is great!!! Dinner is too....look around and enjoy the old pictures on the walls..they tell the History of Brownsville since 1846. A must to do during Charo Days in Feb.
