My grandson and I went to have lunch, and I had a hamburger 1/2 pound steak with mashed potato's and gravy, with Texas toast and green beans with sliced bacon even in the beans. Grandson had the chicken fried steak with mashed and gravy as...well as green beans also Texas toast and a side of potato salad. He loves potato's anything. Also Pepsi and didn't even have to ask for refills, as they were filled before even half empty. Now that is service.More

After waiting almost 50 minutes for our order and seeing 2 other tables, that were seated & had orders placed after us, served I asked if our order had been started and was told not yet there was 1 more ahead of us. But again...it was a table that seated after us and were greeted familiarly. We got up and left. Haveing slow service on a busy day is one thing but having tables served out of order is not good.More

We have driven by this place for years and finally decided to stop. SO glad we did!!!! The food is great and very friendly service. I usually don't eat chicken fried steak because of all the calories but have had it 3 times in the...last six weeks! portion is huge, my husband and I split it and still can't finish it. If nothing else you HAVE to try the fried pies! BEST EVER!!!!!!More

Great homemade food. Good service and we were treated like family. Quality as well as quantity is great. I like these small places to eat and would choose them over the chain restaurants give a opportunity.

We stopped in here after a visit to the Pea Ridge National Military Park. The food choices were plentiful and the portions were large. Everyone tried something different and everyone enjoyed their meal. Don’t miss the homemade fried pies with all different flavors to choose...from, very delicious. The outside may look a little iffy, but go on in and give it a try.More

Had a burger and fries. My wife had the chicken sandwich. Both tasted great, reasonable prices and very good service. Too bad they aren't closer to home or I'd visit more often.

The food portions were Great. I have eaten here about 3 times over the past few years. The customer service is always a joke. They are basically rude from the start and today was the last straw. They stole the money off my gift card...without any notice and then when I checked out they kept the change without asking. Without me offering. I guess if the service is so poor that you can't earn your tip then you steal it. Shameful.More

Nothing fancy, just delicious home cooking with friendly service. They have daily specials that are served quickly or order something from the menu. Don't skip the fried pie for dessert. If we ever pass through again we will stop by.

Stop by and have a bite before or after visiting Pea Ridge Military Park. I had the meatloaf with the homemade cole slaw. I was stuffed eating all this great Americana cooking.

This is a friendly, small town restaurant. Don't expect an amazing dining area, just good food and friendly service. We eat here for breakfast almost every weekend and are never disappointed.
