Our server Betty was extremely friendly , very professional, and a joy to talk to. We will definitely stop again on our next trip out West. The entire staff was awesome! Our steaks were prepared absolutely perfect. Bravo !!!

After a day in Petrified Forest and spending a night in a Wigwam, we decided on trying this place out. The outside is in an old western design with wooded planks and window designs. Inside the theme continues. Checking out the salad bar it was very minimal and basic. We both tried the prime rib for 22.99 which included a... More

We ate here. When you enter you smell a musty smell. The food was ok but over priced. We ate here just for the look and experience but I would not eat here again.

I read on another's review about the weird red lights, I personally thought they matched the atmosphere, along with the old wild west pictures. The menu was a bit limited, along with the basic salad bar, and a tad bit on the pricy side, The wait staff was awesome, and the fresh made rolls with the butter I think were... More

If Dushan ''Pasuit? <sp> '' was in town the complaints would be far fewer. He also owns restaurants in Parker and Kingman, AZ. he has hired several different managers over the years and some work out OK for a while but. I and a friend of mine did almost all remodeling of the Butterfield in the 1990s. The only thing... More

For a steakhouse my friend had the porterhouse, which was disappointing. Too thin and lacked flavor however at $25 I suppose not too bad. Salad bar was basic but fresh, bread rolls were nice. I had scampi with baked potato, scampi was rubbery and veg was not fresh. Cappuccino machine wasn't working, which was a shame. Service was good and... More

Steak house, but I had a fabulous trout dinner. Older country music blares under red lights and heavy wood booths. Very friendly and efficient staff, reasonable prices and good food.

We asked the front desk clerk where to eat and she recommended a place about 5 miles from where we were staying. On the way to the grocery store, we saw Butterfield's about 250 yards from the hotel. We decided to go in and have a beer and see what it looked like. Inside it was a throwback to a... More

We had a meal here whilst staying at the Globetrotter Inn across the road. My companion is vegetarian but knew it would be difficult to find anything to eat but in the event they provided spaghetti with tomato sauce. My steak was fine. Not many customers and so not a very 'lively' evening.

We stopped in after spending the day visiting the petrified forest. Steaks were great and so was the salad bar. Betty, our server, was very friendly and efficient. We really liked the historic western atmosphere too.
