We started with agave margaritas - made with agave wine rather than tequila. They were smooth and nicely tart. The chicken enchiladas came with a green chili sauce and was very tasty. The carne adovada was tasty, but spicy enough that I was relieved that I hadn't ordered it for myself, but my son-in-law enjoyed it to the last bite.... More

Had a great time here. We were in town visiting for the balloon fiesta, and someone told us that if we wanted a taste of New Mexico, we should go to El Patio. It was billed as a hole in the wall, but hole in the wall it was not. The food was really great. I got the green chile... More

If you are looking for good New Mexican food in a good, casual setting, this is the place. I have eaten there numerous times, and I have never been disappointed. They have recently done some remodeling which also makes the experience even better. El Patio was my first experience with New Mexican food when I moved to ABQ, and I... More

I had a Spinach Enchilada that was very good. We all ordered the same thing and everyone agreed. Patio is dog friendly but no water was offered. Lighting makes it hard to read the menu. But would try again.

This is a very cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. I live in California but I am an Albuquerque native. Each time I visit Albuquerque, I seek out the best sopapillas because you can't get sopapillas in California. I was so excited to taste that New Mexico red chili sauce poured over the best sopapillas I've had in years. OM... More

Our dinner on the patio was accompanied by many chirping birds that we couldn't see in the trees above us. Our server was friendly and efficient, and quickly served up a margarita which was lovely after a hot afternoon sight-seeing. I had a chicken enchilada with green chili, pintos and potatoes. The green chili almost set this Virginia girl on... More

Great waitstaff, friendly and helpful. Patio had 2 trees and small tables with wall mural, and the acoustic guitar musician was talented, great and soothing after traveling. Got delicious Chile Rellenos with Sopapillas (sugarless but sweet) and they serve raw honey with them- yum. We also had crispy beef tacos that were seasoned well and their salsa is SPICY and...
