When you order a "Plate" at Eloy's you get a full meal deal. It includes guac and chips, and natillas. You also get a soapapilla. The food at Eloy's is good and the service is quick. We eat here once a month and enjoy the place.

We had a big family dinner here. Everyone loved their food, especially the enchiladas and fajitas. We had a toddler and they were very understanding. The guacmole salad and flan left something to be desired, but the sopapillas were so yummy. Would go again!

Ate here last week and had the most amazing sour cream cheese enchiladas with red sauce. Every part of the meal was delicious!

Eloy's serves typical New Mexican food, with entrees including the usual chips and salsa and sopapillas. But in addition, guacamole salad at the beginning and natillas at the end of the meal makes for a very complete meal. Considering these items which are usually charged as extras, these meals were truly a good very.

Like alot of New Mexican food places in town there is no taste to the food. Not impressed. The place is too small for me they sit everyone too close to each other.

This is a small hole-in-the-wall restaurant in a strip mall on the east side of town. The lunch menu is typically New Mexican, with the usual stuffed sopaipillas, chile rellenos, etc., nothing fancy but all comfortable for a casual meal. The setting is comfortable enough, with friendly and generally prompt service, again casual rather than elegant. Our only criticism was... More

This has been a local favorite for years, and I try to eat here every time I return to NM. Really wonderful blue corn enchiladas with green chile, excellent carne adovada, great sopapillas, etc. etc. My mouth waters as I write the review. Not fancy, hidden in a strip mall in the Heights, but well worth the effort to get... More

Eloy's was here, although in a different location, when we lived here 38 years ago. It was our favorite New Mexican restaurant then and it is still quite good. Dinners come with a small guacamole salad, rice and beans, sopapillas and a pudding for dessert. We ordered stuffed sopapillas and shared because they came with two. We ordered one with... More

Companion had the Posole. Hardly any taste to it; certainly no red chili heat. Mostly liquid. We have had better elsewhere. I had the 3 chicken enchiladas, with Christmas. Only the green chili had some bite. Prices are pretty high for the quality and quantity of food. Will have to keep looing for the really good New Mexican in Albuquerque.
