We had lunch here today for the first time. We usually go to the location in Rio Rancho, and it's always good, however the BBQ at the Carlisle location was quite a bit better than we usually experience. The moist brisket had just a bit of char left on the slices and that's where all the flavor is. Well most... More

Easy, delicious and tastes as good as it smells! Great for families with kids and hungry groups. No frills, just flavorful carnivorous candy for your T. rex tastebuds.

This is what bbq should be whenever and wherever you go. You get what you want in the quantity you want. No mangoes or aioli involved in the making of your food: just smoke, heat, salt, and spices. I love bbq but I hate places that try to make it fancy. Rudy's ain't fancy, just delicious.

I've now been here a few times, so I'm overdue for giving it a 5-star review. This is the place that reminds me of the little barbecue joints I grew up with as a child, back in Texas. Every Single Meal I have had has been superb, the meats cooked to perfection, and the service is fantastic. On my second... More

This was our first time at Rudy's, and we were very pleased! It is a casual eatery with great food. The staff was very helpful guiding us through the ordering process. Our food was hot and delicious and the atmosphere was inviting.

Being from Kansas City, where we have a lot of great BBQ restaurants, it is always a challenge for places to match what we have at home. Rudy's did not disappoint, great smoked brisket, fun sides, they even have tacos. First trip to Rudy's but I suspect I will go again if I have the chance.

This was our first visit to a Rudy's. Everyone loved their food. The turkey sandwich was moist and had great flavor. My niece had the pulled pork sandwich. She said it was one of the best she has ever had. The guys had brisket sandwiches that they enjoyed. I had the smoked potato. If I wasn't so full I'd jump... More

Many of us showed up at the same time and the got through us relatively quickly. We enjoy BBQ at home and its hard not to compare our favorites. We had the pork loin sandwich and sausage sandwich. Both were great. The sides, cole slaw and corn on the cob, were just okay. On a side note, the BBQ sauces... More

Rustic restaurant specializing in barbecue. Delicious chicken and pork. Stopped for a quick lunch right off of Hwy. 40. There is not table service but the line to order moved quickly and our order filled with minimal wait.
