We always enjoy this family-owned restaurant in Albuquerque's north valley (actually in Los Ranchos). My favorite is the breakfast burrito with chicharones. You have to ask for it. It's not on the menu. Normal breakfasts are available, too. Good place for lunch with burgers, sandwiches and New Mexican options.

My wife and I tried this North valley gen this morning. The burgers were delicious and fries plentiful. The service was speedy and attentive as well. It would be worth another visit!

While exploring Albuquerque we stopped at this location to eat lunch. We were disappointed. The facility was not the cleanest and the food was poor. No flavor and very bland and lukewarm. A lady came from outside and went from table to table selling jewelry then left the building. Felt very odd and interrupted our lunch. Not a place I... More

I was really excited about this place as I read the menu. Our food took way to long to get to the table and when it did come it was cold. The green chile was more of a green liquid that had no flavor or chunks of green chile. The food was okay but I thought it would be better... More

After being in Albuquerque for 22 yrs , we decided to try El Camino for breakfast while family was visiting.. What a Wonderful little surprise! Loved the southwest charm of the old adobe and the food was a Amazing! Try the Huevas Rancheros with green chili! Delicious! This hidden treasure will be our new regular breakfast spot!

While visiting Albuquerque, my brother and sister in law took me for breakfast at this little hole in the wall in their neighbourhood on 4th Street. Mega friendly staff, and the food was outstanding and huge portions. When I first saw my plate I figured I wouldn't be able to finish but it was so delicious I ate every bit.... More

When my partner and I visit my folks, we always make a point of stopping in for here for some local flare. This restaurant is what it is, a local institution of damn good New Mexican food, no apologies. We love the food and endorse this place as a must-do! The service is top notch. Eat here and you can... Great hidden gem in Albuquerque! Enjoyed the light fluffy pancakes. Others in the group loved their eggs and home fries. Family owned and operated and loved the friendly atmosphere. Definitely will return.

I spent about 10 years in Albuquerque and was introduced to El Camino restaurant by my father-in-law. I love Albuquerque and one of the best things is the huevos rancheros, (3 eggs swimming in a belly warming green chile sauce and smothered in delicious gooey cheese) breakfast at El Camino. It's a must visit every time we go back. Makes... More
