We stopped by to get some frozen tamales when we were visiting friends.. this is a busy place! It was founded in like 1929.. our friends have been coming here for over 60 years..

They make the best tamales that I have ever eaten. The masa to meat ratio is perfect. I am very picky about the masa flavor. Their masa has a great flavor. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant's tamales.

This is the spot if you want authentic Mexican food. The tamales and everything are great. Prices are good. One person has a complaint about parking. It's worth the wait.
Place is the place for your Christmas tamales. During the rest of the year they have great burritos, posole and the chile is fantastic.
Decades in the same place with same food. It’s a full takeaway place/food factory. The tostadas are my staple. The green Chile chicken tamales are an absolute winner! Get them and the red Chile pork ones frozen and you can enjoy for months.
