Stopped in based on Trip Advisor reviews. The place didn't look like much from outside. But upon entering we were created by the hostess who had us seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly and made sure everything was good. The place was clean and breakfast burrito was delicious. They had a room inside where antiques were displayed and for sale.... More

This proved to be one of the better New Mexican restaurants in the Albuquerque area, albeit located somewhat off the "beaten track." The staff was especially friendly and attentive.

Nice, large portions, good and cold bottled beer. Nice items sitting around that you can purchase. Okay restaurant and locals love it and frequent it often.

Family owned and run restaurant. Traditional New Mexican food served with a smiling staff. The owner greets you at the door. He often comes around and talks to you during the meal and fills glasses, runs food or whatever else needs to be done. We have eaten here every year when we come to town. The food is very good,... Great food. We went based on the recommendation from the Red Horse Vineyard, B&B. We loved it, very tasty, so we went back for lunch two days later. We would go again, should we ever be in Albuquerque again.

I live in the South Valley where we have very few sit down restaurants with nice ambiance so I eat at Abuelita's several times a year- The food is always consistently good but not great- although I have had red on my huevos rancheros that was really good, flavorful and hot. The service is always poor and this time was... More

This was my second time visiting this restaurant, the first was in 2/2006 and it was as good as I remembered. Service was on point and everyone was very friendly.

Even though this is the second Abuelita's location, they did not build it new. The building looks repurposed and the parking lot is dirt. Having said that, this is a great place to eat. We were greeted and seated promptly. The server was a super nice young man who genuinely seemed to enjoy his job. We started with salsa and... More

We were sited right away, and service was excellent. The environment seemed quite and the restaurant was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and talkative-answering all out questions. The meal was Delish. Raving about the green chili stew-which included lots of veggies. I loved everything about this cute little joint, I'll def be back and bring more friends.
