Probably the best value meal we had on our recent visit to Albuquerque. The food is very good, the red chili is outstanding and service is excellent. My wife and I both had really good mexican meals for a total of $20.25.

Everything was delicious at this New Mexican (not Mexican) restaurant. Warning-cash only, pay at counter after you eat(diner style). We came at 6:30pm and there was no wait. We read here there can be quite a wait around lunch. We sat and were attentively waited on. Salsa and chips brought to table and right away. Sopaipillas come with the dinners... More

This is a neighborhood family run restaurant that serves true delicious homemade traditional Mexican Food. In a small shopping center and outside appearance is that great looking. But very comfortable setting inside along with the tastiest New Mexican Food in Albuquerque. The freshness of both the salsa and entrees are wonderful. This place does serve alcoholic beverages but the quality... More

Amazingly tasty Mexican food that has all the hallmarks of being home-cooked. Attentive service. As spicy as you like it.

Dined at this restaurant last night as it was in our new neighborhood. There are five-star restaurants that are much pricier, that can't hold a candle to this food. The plates were piping hot out of the OVEN!!! I had a combination plate with a tamale. It was truly the best I've had since I've been in the New Mexico... More

This is the ultimate local spot - great food - low prices - 50 years of family operations. menu has only New Mexican fare and all great - Temperature & spice level up to you to choose. Red or green Chili choices. Beer and wine and super casual. In a strip mall - do not park in front of Laundry.... More

Many of my friends rave about this restaurant but I've never been to it. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the red chile & carne adovada was! Their sopaipillas were also very tasty and I look forward to eating here whenever I'm visiting ABQ.

I went here with a colleague who raved about it. He has been going to this restaurant for 15 years and loves it. He loved what he got and was happy. Me, not so much. No reservations accepted means that you wait, standing literally at the elbows of diners, for a table to open up. Service is slap dash (meaning... More

Like the title says this place is cash only so make sure to stop at an ATM along the way. There is an ATM in the laundromat next door but it didn't work when we visited. The hours are lunch and short for dinner, opens at 11 and closes at 730 pm and not open on weekends. All of that... More
