Off the beaten path. The coffee drinks are very good at this busy spot. The Mike's Moca was great - touch of blackberry is in it. Nicely priced. Good staff.

I go here regularly and it is one of my favorite coffee shops in town. Great selection of drinks and small pastries. It's a bit expensive for coffee but on the lower end for 3rd wave coffee in Albuquerque.

The coffee here is great. All sorts of coffee drinks: hot, cold, authentic italiano etc. Have never waited behind more than 3 people. It is nice they have some outdoor seating and that things are divided up so all the seating feels intimate.

The cold drip coffee was magical. The outdoor seating was a perfect shade break for the dog and me. Service was really friendly and nice. People seemed to work really hard to make an amazing cup of iced coffee.

If you are a coffee person, this is the place to go! They have an incredible selection of coffees, and they are all good! I myself am a more conservative cortado-cappuccino-espresso person and stay away from the bacon lattes, but I can still admire the creativity. The shop also has good snacks, cookies and burritos for the hungry. And it... More

I am not a coffee aficionado, but my friend who was visiting Albuquerque is and after careful research, he suggested we try this place as they roast their own beans. I told the friendly gentleman behind the counter what I liked and asked for his suggestion and I was not disappointed! They certainly know what they are doing here so... More

I googled to find the best cup of coffee in Albuquerque. The result came in that Michael Thomas was it. So I headed over there in the morning and ordered an americano. I was expecting a delicious, tasty cup of coffee. What I got was an overly hot, burned and bitter tasting coffee. Might as well have gone to Starbucks... More

Quirky little neighborhood coffee shop! My husband owns a local coffee shop/restaurant in our area, which now means we check out other locals when on vacation. MTC was the first on our list. Initially we weren't sure whether to stop, but beware of judging a book by the cover. This is a very small shop (think one car garage), with... More

This is truly a neighborhood coffee house in a largely residential neighborhood. They have some food that is brought in -- rolls, pastries, etc. -- but the excellent coffee is their forte. The place is cozy but the clients, largely from the neighborhood, is friendly. There is outdoor seating scattered around.

Though the coffee and espresso at Michaels is fine. Not exceptional by any means. The store is packed with few chairs a few tables and customers like a can of sardines. Not relaxing. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain
