We are delighted to have found this wonderful sushi restaurant so close to our home! Always fresh and the service is efficient and friendly. The Nigiri is generously portioned with a reasonable amount of rice. Every roll we have tried has been very tasty. My favorite is the crunchy roll!

We have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. Located across the street from the US Federal Courthouse, it's very convenient when we have federal court. The food is very authentic and service is great. A family owned restaurant with great food and service at a fair price. Free parking is located on the street or parking lot to the east... More

The food and atmosphere are great! Best sushi I've had in New Mexico. The service is a little slow, but I wasn't in a hurry and I had my book. The sushi is a little pricy, but the quality is first rate! Most sushi away from a coast is pricy anyway.

This restaurant has two sides, sushi and dim sum. We came in for sushi but that side was closed so we sat in the dim sum area. So glad we did. We tried dim sum for the first time and loved it. Our sushi was also outstanding. Definitely eating here again on our next visit to Albuquerque. Service was friendly,... More

I was in town for a convention and went out to eat with some friends. When they suggested sushi, my heart sunk. They really wanted to try this place out so I went along with it. I am so glad I did. The restaurant was clean and modern yet cozy. I had the yummy yummy roll and my wife had... More

There are a lot of Japanese restaurants in Albuquerque, and I have been to several. Sumo Sushi is hands-down the best, especially with their speciality rolls. The Alaskan and Baked Dynamite are two of my favorites, but I have never had a roll I didn't like. The flavors are perfect and very fresh. The atmosphere and service are also very... More

Started with the caterpillar roll and it was awesome. Delve into nigiri sushi with salmon, tuna and yellow tail. They all were delightful. The tuna was perfect and light. The salmon robust and flavorful. The yellow tail was perfect. They all were fresh and thick cut. I had the Ichihara roll and this was shrimp tempura crabmeat with cucumber topped... More

Great sushi and wonderful staff. Difficult parking, but you are in the city. Parking always bites. Definitely recommend! Yummy!

JMJ Experienced many dishes by sharing with a large group of friends and family! Our waitress, with limited English, was attentive and just kept instructing us to order more. The sesame balls, the scallion pancakes, and the udo soup, were some of the favorites. The spring rolls were good also. The menu is extensive but it's more of a verbal... More
