Our visit here was unremarkable. My seafood platter had good fish and shrimp but Sysco/McCain fries and the most terrible clam strips--desiccated, rubbery, tasteless and over battered--that could not have possibly be made in house. Very disappointing that a seafood restaurant could have such terrible clams. My partners chicken-fried steak and country gravy was a little better. Service was absent... More

The waitstaff was prompt and friendly, happy to accommodate our request for a table rather than a booth. Salad bar is minimal but clean and well stocked. We sat in the lounge, where local microbrew is available on tap! Food was served up quickly, hot and fresh.

I started to list "average" as clam chowder not bad, but not special - to thick. The fish and chips, toast crab sandwich, mixed platter very good. Service good and friendly.

Fried seafood was great, couldn't have been happier with my Lin cod and chips but the clam chowder had little taste. My wife had snapper and it was thin wasn't great. Potatoes tasted like they were out of a box like KFC.

The fish & chips are still edible and not bad but, so much else has changed. I ordered fish tacos (one of my frequent meals wherever I am) They were possibly the worst I've had- The chef had know idea what goes into a fish taco! There were two, they were served with old oversized corn tortillas that I could... More

Casual dining that looks like it's a favorite of locals, which is a good indication that the food is good. Very prompt service. The portions were very generous. Lots of comfort-type foods on the menu. When we dined on Saturday, in the lounge was a live band with a very enthusiastic crowd. Clearly a local's haunt that's worth a visit... More

We got into town late. They seated us at 8:45. Had a good fish and chips. Fish was fresh and cooked well. Nice job for the crescent city.

We enjoyed the food. The service was very good. This is mostly a diner type restaurant. I had the Salmon which was very good.

Hands DOWN. For Seafood or really anything else, Fisherman's has everyone BEAT. They have Fresh Catch and they have amazing food caught right out of the harbor here in CC. Great FISH. Locally caught. Ask them their "fresh catch of the day..." They have GREAT breakfasts. (Calories are no object.) You will see what real oceanfish FRESH tastes like... a... More
