I Love Vita Cucina and would recommend it to anyone. Mararoons soft and chewy yet crunchy on the edges, yum

My husband and I stopped in this little place on a rainy afternoon. I'd check for places to lunch in Crescent City, a town not particularly known for its gourmet food. We are certainly glad we stopped. It was crowded with most of the tables filled and several people waiting. However, we were met with a smile and did not... More

I have never heard so many aaaahs in my life! The food is noise worthy! The wait staff kind, patient and attentive. I personally think the atmosphere is charming - blackboard and chalk presentation, wine bottles in corner, self serve coffee bar, tea served on tray with steaming pot, bakery items and beautifully presented sandwiches and salads behind glass grab... I have eaten here three times now. The food here is excellent and is fresh made. The restaurant is very small but the flavors are very big!

This place makes everything from scratch and you can see the bakery in operation right behind the counter. The baked goods are great because they are so fresh and they have some clean tasting healthy options. I had the greek salad and my partner had some sort of a pizza roll item (sorry I wasn't really paying attention). I had... More

This one is a gem! Small little bakery serving breakfast, lunch and dinner items. Vegan and gluten-free options, sandwiches, soups, pizza, entrees, quiche, salads and more depending on day and time. Everything we had was excellent. Real food made with love! Nothing special about the atmosphere, but the food....ooh! Located right in highway 101 as yiu come into town from... More

My quick stop for a late lunch was a treat. I had the grilled eggplant and red pepper open sandwich on foccacia. Outstanding. Courteous quick service. Very well done.

Vita has the best sandwiches you can find outside of a NYC deli! Super great quality and attention to detail here, everything is consistent and always delicious. I love the house smoked meats! So grateful to have these folks in town and I will be back again and again for as long as we both shall live.

Thank Chelsea B

Culinary Institute of America trained chefs/owners Devon & Michelle Morgante. We love to cook and bake everything from Michelle’s quiches, morning glory and bran muffins baked daily to my house cured and smoked pastrami, ham, turkey and bacon. We bake all of our own breads: focaccia for our turkey, Cuban, breakfast sandwiches and specials; I also bake what we call an artisan loaf which is slightly sour and a sour dough loaf that is made from a starter I created using blackberries from my backyard. The menu change weekly and reflects the cravings of the cooks. On Thursdays and Fridays nights after 4:00 pm we serve pizzas. Top your pizza pie with some of our homemade topping like: pesto, garlic white sauce, sausage (yes, I grind my own sausages), roasted garlic, roasted mushrooms, smoked chicken, roasted pork and locally made Rumiano cheese. Thank you for your time
