The view at night was non existent. Wait staff seemed to be taxed by just a few tables. Waitress was nice, but ditsy. Food was excellent but way overpriced with $30+ entrees. At these prices dinner rolls should be included, but they nickeled and dimed...More

Every table in this restaurant comes with a view. One wall of the restaurant is completely glass. The service is impeccable. Food was delicious! It was a bit pricey for what it was but absolutely worth it!

We were impressed by the breadth of the menu and quality of food. While a bit pricey, the overall experience of location, taste and service was worth it.

This is such a step back in time. Loved the old hotel and handcrafted tables and chairs. We had the best filet, so very tender. The mashed potatoes we fresh as if grandma just made them. The salad with apples was fresh and yummy. The...More

We have been here several times throughout the years. It is always a treat. A wonderful old hotel with so much character. The dinner was over cooked, but the chef apologized and went out of his way to make it right. The waitress was very...More

We made a reservation at The View restaurant for Thursday, September 10, 2015. We were seated immediately. It is quite a drive up the side of a small mountain to get here and it is quite a striking lodge. When making the reservation we were...More

The dining room itself was very nice, the wait staff also. The menu was limited and on a Saturday night they had no specials. The menu we looked at on the website was not the same as the one we had that night. Disappointing. The...More

Yes they do take reservations. You will not be disappointed...the food and service is excellent. If you can get a balcony table I highly recommend it. Depending on weather of course!

Dining is casual yet elegant and offers the best view of the surrounding mountains and downtown Estes Park through it's ninety foot wall of windows. Our bar opens at 4:00 PM and Happy Hour is from 4-6. The menu is an eclectic mix of unique entrees such as the Signature Short Ribs, Duck Confit, Roasted Eggplant Dip and our signature Cobbler. Gluten free and vegetarian options available. Only fresh, local ingredients are used in the menu and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The View is a perfect mix of atmosphere, views, excellent food and fine wine.
