My newest favorite place in Providence, a centrally located of haven of Scandinavian calm. For me, it's perfect for morning meetings with friends or colleagues over coffee or cocoa.

Small, friendly place to grab a cup of joe, brewed tea, crepe or flatbread sandwich. Desserts you dream about and then eat either in cozy booths or at outdoor tables.

The desserts and coffee were just excellent but it was the comfortable old style tea house feeling that I really liked. Colorful pillows on bright benches, local art on the walls, big windows with lots of light, and a very pleasant staff. I would be eager to return here when we come to Providence again.

We had breakfast at the Cafe Choklad today and had a great time. A cozy space, wellcoming and friendly services, tasty pastries: home made like rolls, muffins, croissants and pain ou chocolat, and yet bagels and sandwiches. Carefully prepared capuccinos in a nicely decorated and comfortable room. I strongly recommend it.

We visited the Roger Williams National Memorial and decided to stop here for a break before heading out on our long trip back home. Little did we know the treasure we were to discover. Coffee drinks are well made and the pastries are plentiful and tasty. They also serve sandwiches and bagels. I think there are a few tables outside.

We stopped here for a quick refresher after visiting the Roger Williams National Memorial. Our group was very pleased with a variety of snacks and drinks. The cafe americano was nice and rich, evidence of good espresso. The cafe au lai and vanilla latte were also nice, smooth drinks. We ordered both sweet and savory snacks, and everything was terrific.

The menu is simple and delicious with pastries and wonderful lattes and cappuccinos for breakfast. It caters to RISD and a creative crowd. It's my go to place for the classic salad with chicken to go. They re fast efficient and very pleasant, stop by if you are in the neighborhood.

Great atmosphere. Good staff. Good food. Cute area. I recommend the Southwestern Turkey BLT on French Roll. Also they sell Izzes and it was my first one, very good.

Visited the First Baptist Church and they recommended this spot on the corner. We enjoyed the chicken caprese sandwich and butternut squash empanada. Menu was creative, vegetarian friendly, and food was fresh. Service was prompt and friendly. Two suggestions. Sandwich came with chips, we were surprised that these were Lay's. Expected a more unique chip. We dined in and were... More

Warm and cozy, lovely eats and coffees, walking distance to anything in downtown Providence and to RISD, Johnson & Wales, and Brown campuses. Familiar items but beautifully prepared or baked. Especially nice for a break on a cold day.
