Authentic Chinese at a bargain price. Our dinner started with hot and sour soup at $1.75 per cup. Followed by crab Rangoon's and their entrées muscles with basil and vegetarian Singapore noodles Everything cooked perfectly good service despite busy restaurant. Two glasses of wine two beers in the entire bill was only $50 A true bargain for modern excellent Chinese... More

Love, love love Ba-Dar. It is family owned and has long time employees. It's always nice when they treat you like family. Having said that, the food here is the real deal and it's delicious. You can order anything from noodle soup to octopus, chicken, shrimp, etc. They have it all and it is always fresh and prepared well. They... More

I had a few appetizers including the hot and sour soup. It was good. Nothing spectacular but what most would expect. My wife had one of the lunch specials and she did not like it at all. It took quite a long time to be waited on and despite the place not being that busy. We were never asked if... More

It was pouring rain so, we did a HUGE take out order and watched Elf. The Lemon Chicken was the Fav, although I loved the Mu Shu Pork. Our order was perfectly packaged, hot and ready on time. I highly recommend Ba-Dar!

The two dishes we got were covered in a gloppy, salty brown sauce that literally dripped off of the plate. Fried rice had no seasoning and no flavor and was pretty much just rice. Egg rolls were so greasy we couldn't eat them. Our entire meal went in the trash and we got sandwiches nearby. Gross!

According to my sister-in-law who was born in Taipei, Ba-Dar can be counted on for some of the most authentic Taiwanese dishes available in Tucson. She and my brother-in-law come here often, so we were happy to let her order from the special Chinese menu for all of us. We were not disappointed. We left well sated and vowed to... More

Very varied menu and everything I've tried over many years has been excellent. Generous portions and great taste yet not expensive earns 5 stars.

A friend recommended this little place for decent Chinese food in Tucson and it is darn good. I was spoiled in CA where everywhere you go, you can find good Asian food. Tucson is not really the place for Asian food, so this was a nice surprise. Small and family-owned, very clean, cheerful, and with excellent service. The food was... More

My co-workers and I chose this restaurant for the last night before we all went our separate ways. Each of ordered something different and we all shared. Had BBQ pork for appetizer. Food was great and everyone enjoyed. Won't break the bank and there was plenty to eat. Will definitely eat here again if I have an opportunity.

This is a family owned restaurant and the food and service quite good. It is NOT a buffet style eatery.
