A little back story, I moved to AZ from NC, that being said, I have yet to find a Mexican restaurant that I like. I ordered the Carne asada lunch portion, it was not only the perfect portion, but it tasted amazing. My only complaint is I expected the beans to be a little more refried than they were, I... More

La Olla has become one of our favorites among a wide selection of wonderful Mexican food in the Tucson area. We're drawn to it because the food is wonderful, the service is great, and particularly because it's relatively small. The small part seems to mean that you are served a very hot entree that is fresh off the grill rather... More

We go here often because the Mexican food is so good. Also, if you like calabacitas, that dish here is excellent. And the chimis are BIG.

Had a enjoyable meal. Order combination plate #1, Carne Seca, Cheese Chile Relleno, and Garlic Shrimp Taco with rice, beans and calabacitas. for $12.25. Service was very good, since it was friday eve and very busy.

While you can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I always gravitate to the carne seca or the manchego shrimp. Both cooked to perfection, the carne seca it full of flavor and moist too, not dry like some local places! And do NOT miss the moonshine margarita! A unique and refreshing beverage for those hot summer days. Highly recommend!

This friendly place has exceptional Sonoran food in a simple but pleasant atmosphere. Go early for lunch and dinner or there's likely to be a wait as number of tables is limited. Our "go to" place for a quick lunch or dinner when we have guests.

We were told about this place. They told us it is family owned and they had lived in New Mexico and felt this was the best they had had of Mexican fare. We totally agree. Dishes I had not heard of, so very wonderful that we have to go back tonight! Love this place. Be ready for tables and booths... More

We've lived in Marana for a number of years, eat out frequently, and just recently heard of La Olla. We went for a late lunch. Chips were still warm; thin and crisp. Salsa was fresh with enough heat to satisfy husband but not too much for me. We had a small order of nachos with chicken and they were the... More
