Ended up here by accident when we ran into folks trying to find it on someone else's recommendation. So we joined them. Family run with home-cooked Mexican fare, tasty and reasonably priced, interior is funky plain (and there's an outside patio.) No margaritas (beer and wine only but we survived.) Not gourmet Mexican but definitely above a lot of fare.... More

Not at all busy on a Saturday night, we should have been tipped off. For some unknown reason, only one person could take orders and function as cashier, but two other people were working. It seemed there was only one cook on duty so food was slow to arrive, after waiting quite a while for our order to be taken.... More

The food here is over the top! Chips, salsa are fantastic. My vegan plate- yum! My husband's carne seca - all gone. The family who owns the place is lovely and I implore you to stop in.

Was looking forward to lunch here based in the reviews and even tried one of the house specials. Food was fine but not spectacular. Service was less impressive than that the food - even on a slow mid-afternoon noon.

Delicious, old time Mexican restaurant. Many vegetarian options including the beans. I had chicken tacos topped with cabbage. Their homemade salsa has just the right amount of kick. Can't wait to go back. The staff was very friendly as well.

It's a small family run restaurant...3 generations. Our server (3rd gen daughter) was awesome and food was really good. The "bus person" who was likely also a family member wasnt so efficient. Took a reminder to get water. Both are credit cards were rejected at payment...embarrassing. I called credit card company. My card calls for a pin and the "bus... More

We stopped in here on a whim as we wanted Mexican and preferably not a chain. What a gem! First off, I'm pretty sure this is a family owned restaurant as the owner(?) came over with her grandson to say hi to us and our little one who was roughly the same age. Really great service- they were happy to... More

Ate at this place tonight with the hopes of having good mexican food. The chips and salsa (green) are excellent. The meal went downhill after that. Food was a bit weird and not very tasty to be quite honest. I think they try to cater to the hipster beatnik vegan I voted for Hillary crowd a little too much. Prices... More

Cheese crisp with Carne Seca as an appetizer was great. Entrees excellent too. Wait staff - family? - was friendly. Relatively small, two dining room layout. Street parking.
