We walked right in with a reservation on a very crowded Friday night of Parent's Weekend! We were VERY fortunate to have Steven as our waiter! What a Pro! He carefully explained the menu and offered up suggestions (which we took) and man are we...More

We have tried virtually every Mexican Food Restaurant we can find in the Tucson Area, and El Charro ranks up there as one of the Best in our Opinion. We drove downtown to experience the original restaurant and found the food and service to be...More

Sounded great, good reviews, so we drove there and I was disappointed. It was busy, but I felt the service was lacking. The manager was running around barking at his workers, but not doing a thing. The food was more American Mexican than authentic Mexican....More

Great food, great service! I got tamales, husband got a burrito. We both enjoyed queso and margaritas. Love that it's set in an old house too! Would definitely return!

Small menu but decent variety. All meet entrees cooked over wood. Have eaten here twice and will again. Food is very good and reasonably price. Can dress casual or dress up at feel comfortable here.

This place is great, a lot of different options for everyone. We split the Chimichanga's and cheese enchilada's Mexican flag style which were both great. But the Churro was what made us really glad that we stopped in.

Hearty Mexican with an authentic twist. Fresh ingredients, some cured on site. Very friendly service and nice setting. Come hungry.
