I lived in this area over 20 years ago and was so pleased to see it was still there. Even some of the vintage carved up tables were still there. The staff was so friendly and the food was really good. It was a very happy revisit. Even my two teenage daughters enjoyed it.

Don't sit near the doors to the outdoor patio if you don't enjoy the smell of smoke ... we were visiting from smoke-free Seattle and were gagging trying to finish our meal as the door kept opening and closing to the deck.

I'm a three-times a month person for several years. Wife & I have made many great friends through our outings here. Menu is good if a little boring after a while. Good beer selection and rotating and happy hour specials. Smoking and dogs allowed on patio. Once you get into their routine service is outstanding. Good for families too.

The first night we went, we just want to cap off the evening, before going back to the hotel. It is a local place, fun experience the local town. Drinks reasonable and the staff friendly. We did see that they where open for breakfast, so the next morning on our way to the airport we headed over, staff just setting... More

Local neighborhood bar vibe with friendly staff and good food and drink. This is a nice local pub that your teens can go eat with you and feel comfortable. Prices are reasonable, location is good, parking is ample in the area. Worth a visit!

A friend of mine recommended this place to me as we both enjoy low-key, neighborhood bars w/good eats for reasonable prices. They offer Happy Hour specials from 3-7 & have daily dinner specials as well. I notices a sign in the window for Leinenkugel Summer Shandys for only $2.75/pt, a very good price! All appetizers are 25% off during Happy... More

I have heard of Bob Dobbs many times and know it is an U of A tradition Sports Bar, but I finally got to check it out myself. Four of us went this past weekend, and had a meal and a few beverages. The staff was friendly and attentive, very welcoming!! They didn't have a very large crowd for an... More

Stopped in for a burger and sandwich. We are from out of town but staying in the neighborhood. Seems to be a bar where everyone knows everyone. The burger with hand cut chips was good and the Reuben with hand cut fries also hit the spot. Would definitely stop again.

Ever since the normal staple burger places have closed in town (Wildcat House, Bum Steer), Bob Dobbs stands alone with the best burger in town. Hard to call it a dive, but it has all of the charm of your local dive bar. Great place to meet friends and feel like you live in neighborhood. Great graffiti on walls also.... More

Not too many neighborhood bars in Tucson that aren't seedy, so Bob Dobb's is a rare treat. Great location in the middle of Sam Hughes. Good beer, decent food and some lively servers at times.
