Made reservations with friends to come here during their happy hour around 5pm. We're seated promptly without delay. I ordered the freshly made spaghetti and meatballs, and the bruschetta as an appetizer. Basic meals in nature, and they were very well made, making them excellent. Topped off the meal with a glass of the house red, and tiramisu. I'd also... More

Made reservations here on a Friday evening for a total of 5 people. The restaurant was very busy and even with a reservation there was a delay of about 10-15 minutes to be seated. All food choices were very good and portions were appropriate. Service was excellent, but it is VERY loud and can be difficult to hear others while... More

Found this restaurant while waiting for my grandson's appointment at the Apple Store. Both the food and the service were very good. The ambiance both inside and outside made it a special lunch.

Came here with a large group and they fit us at two round tables and one long bench table. Our server had all of us and she did a great job with about 20 of us. Our table ordered grilled artichoke, crispy calamari, and roasted cauliflower starters and each was excellent. The sunny side up egg on the cauliflower was... More

I give this place five stars for the outdoor fire pits and mountain air. Sunday brunch (1/2 price with a bottle of house wine or pitcher of Sangria) or daily Happy Hour - I think 2 or 3 to 6 pm but look up)...are great. Especially Sunday that has a larger menu. The Chef's Board is wonderful: prosciutto; mango chutney;... More

I have tried a number of dishes at North and the only one I would recommend is the Red Wine Glazed Short Ribs, which is why I do not go there very often. The service is excellent but, unfortunately, the restaurant is very noisy so we always sit outside, weather permitting.

This restaurant is in the richer part of Tucson. An open kitchen and view on the preparation process. The food tasted good and had an Italian touch. Different though than authentic Italian dishes. Risotto tasted great but they did not use real risotto rice. A lot better restaurant than most 'Italian' restaurants in the US.

There were 20 of us from a Meetup group who recently gathered at North. I was a little reluctant to go at first, because the place tends to be loud and that does not make conversations easy. I do enjoy the outside sitting, which is much quieter. I had never seen the private room that is right by the kitchen,... More

We went on a Sunday, when they have all day happy hour. This means you can order off a specific menu of half price apps, and the house wine is cheaper as well. We ordered the chefs board, zucco chips and grilled artichoke. The chefs board is a variety of small tastes; olives, cheese, toast and spreads, and the zucco... More

Description
We’ve turned a modern lens on traditional Italian cooking. North Italia is our love letter to Italy—a place that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped off a charming side street to discover a culinary gem. After a decade in business, we’ve learned a thing or two and we’re approaching perfection in the art of handmade pasta and pizza. Every day, we start from scratch to create dishes like Strozzapreti with Bloomsdale spinach or supple ribbons of tagliatelle for our Bolognese. Our pizza is a revelation: an airy, barely chewy center embraced by a perfectly crisp crust. With the spirit of the Italian taverna, North is the place to talk shop over a cocktail or swap gossip sharing delectable chef creations.Every neighborhood would be lucky to have a place like North.
