We had a happy hour special wine and pizza. It was very good! The wine was better than we expected. Our server, Andrea, took fantastic care of us. We ate in the outside patio and it was very comfortable. We had the Italian donuts for dessert and loved them. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Excellent meal, wine, and service. Found a new love of roasted mushrooms in the Tortillino dish. The Tuscany wine is deliciously paired with our meal.

The food in this restaurant is prepared fresh each day. The menu is nicely creative. The service was impeccable from the hostesses to the servers, even on one of their busiest days of the year. The grilled branzino (European sea bass) fish dish is delectable. I am eager to return and try other dishes. The server was knowledgeable about gluten-free... More

Seven of us went there for dinner and no one was disappointed (and I mean NO ONE)! We started with two Chef's Boards which had two cheeses (one soft and the other provolone cubes), olives, roasted peppers, apricot jam, pickled eggplant, roasted asparagus, thin slices of prosciutto and two types of sliced bread. Several had pasta for the main course:... More

In a lovely shopping center. Many restaurants in the immediate area. Could have brunch even at 12:30. Very relaxing. Not real expensive, given the area. The small plate meatballs were just right for me.

Took a girlfriend for belated birthday lunch. She got an Italian chicken sandwich and salad and I got pasta bolognese. Both were just terrific and I took some of mine home. Lovely service, beautiful place, nothing like the usual 'lunch at the mall.'

We went to North for our anniversary and had a very nice meal. We sat on the patio which was well heated and protected from the outside with clear plastic. The food was tasty and the server friendly and efficient. He had the menu dialed in and knew every possible gluten free option. Dessert was very tasty too. The wine... More

Modern, hip and well done, the decor is as good as the food. We had three different salads, three different pastas and a custom pizza, and everything was delicious. Nice wine list, too. Despite being a loud restaurant, and very busy and crowded, we could actually hear each other. Love the valet service too--when you drop off your car, they... More

Pros. We sat outside around the fireplace at happy hour. It was beautiful. I had a bottle of red and a Margarita pizza for 20 dollars. It was very good. I was with 4 others. Everyone loved their food..from clams..bruchetta..bread..sangria..and wonderful tirimisu for dessert. Our waiter was new I think but did a great job!!

My husband and I visit Tucson annually. We love the desert and the restaurants. North is one of our favourite and we booked in on Saturday night, the day we arrived. We were a few minutes late for our reservation, 12 minutes due to an accident we passed on the way. They had given our table away. The manager offered... More

We’ve turned a modern lens on traditional Italian cooking. North Italia is our love letter to Italy—a place that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped off a charming side street to discover a culinary gem. After a decade in business, we’ve learned a thing or two and we’re approaching perfection in the art of handmade pasta and pizza. Every day, we start from scratch to create dishes like Strozzapreti with Bloomsdale spinach or supple ribbons of tagliatelle for our Bolognese. Our pizza is a revelation: an airy, barely chewy center embraced by a perfectly crisp crust. With the spirit of the Italian taverna, North is the place to talk shop over a cocktail or swap gossip sharing delectable chef creations.Every neighborhood would be lucky to have a place like North.
