I have been coming here since I was a child. It was a tradition. Couldn't wait for them to open every April. Tried to carry on the tradition with my own kids. Spending hundreds every summer and thousands over the years. The same people saw myself and family return year after year. Today I went up to the same person... More

I bought a gift certificate at their location in Danversport. When I went to use it the location was closed. I tried to use the gift certificate at the Salem Willow location since they were the owners of the Danvers location. I was extremely disappointed that they would not honor the gift certificate. I spoke directly to the owners and... More

Are they greasy, salty, and sweet...yes, but still my all-time favorite onion rings. They are still light and crispy and very tasty. The fried fish and fried clams (with bellies) were both excellent. I very rarely eat fried food, but Cappy's always was and still is one of my top two New England favorites. I now live in Florida, but... More

When you go to Salem Willows, you have to go to Cappy's and get there seafood. Clams are full bellied and mouth watering. I personally like the clam strip boat. You can eat in diner or sit on a park bench seaside and watch the boats and fishing and bathers or just chill out.

The first great thing about Cappies is that it is smack in the middle of Salem Willows Amusement Park, which includes a small strip of amusements mostly for children. Second, Cappies has absolutely fresh and wonderful fried clams, not the stips that you find outside of New England, but the whole clam. Also try the deep fried onion rings, sweet... More

Love the fish and chips here comes with good tartar sauce and excellent fresh coleslaw (you can tell it wasn't scooped out of a five gallon plastic bucket!).

My husband and I went to the Cappy's in Danversport and were pleased with the fish & chips plate and the homemade fried onion rings. The fish portions were ample; fillets were crisp on the outside and still moist inside. The fries were standard fare. The onion rings were very good -- crisp and not too greasy. I really liked...
