We have been there only once and never went back. To begin, the place was very dark, as you enter, the first thing you see is the bar area which was full of questionable looking people. Our meal was acceptable but terribly expensive for what we got. We never went back, there are far better places and better looking people... More

Dropped in for birthday celebration. Excellent service on all fronts. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere was great. Recommend to all and will visit again.

No thank you. Food was gross, and old. We actually left our meal after taking a few bites. Paid bill and left a tip still. Not servers fault food was nasty. Will never return or recommend.

We had a delightful experience a year ago on a San Antonio visit from the Rio Grande Valley, so we made Kirby's the crown jewel meal of our four day visit this time. We weren't disappointed. We shared the big (18 oz?) ribeye custom cooked since my wife and I don't agree on how to cook a steak. We had... More

This is one of our favorite places for Great food and alone time. Wonderful selection of wines and drinks. The food is second to none and we have always enjoyed the great service. I highly recommend the chief special which is usually centered around the Filet and the bone in filet is awesome.

Overall this is a very good steakhouse as you'd expect from a prime steakhouse. My wife and I went out for a date night and decided to go to a steakhouse we have not tried thus far. Atmosphere: Kirby's is dimly lit and is well laid out. The chairs were very comfortable at the table so you can spend the... More

My hubby and I ate there last evening. We always ask for a specific table and they never disappoint. The chopped salad was delicious as usual. One thing I never knew is that there is a house salad with your entree. Since most people don't know that, they order a specialty salad or soup. The sea bass is served with... More

My wife and I were craving a great steak and thought we'd try Kirby. The location is good and near our house. The staff was terrific and service was great (our waiter was Cody - very, very nice). I didn't care for having to navigate their ipad to look at wines, cocktails and off-menu specials. To me, it was awkward,... More

Overall we had a decent meal here, but for the nearly 250 dollar price tag for two people including wine, we expected more, and feel we have had better bang for our buck at places like Ruth Chris and Mortons, and even Saltgrass. I think our main complaint is that when you are charging close to 60 dollars for a... More

Recently my wife and I decided to celebrate my birthday at Kirby's , a place we have learned to love. We sat in the bar at a booth next to the two piece band. There music was tasteful and thoroughly enjoyable. We had no problem conversing. My wife had a smoked rib eye and I had a small filet. The... More
