Pete's is known for their Breakfast Tacos! But today I stopped in for Lunch. The Fajita Beef Nachos with added Bell Peper and sautéed onions were heavenly! In sweeten Tea the best I have ever had. Service was superb! If you miss this place while visiting San Antonio you gave missed a fantastic meal!

The real deal here. Not fancy but friendly, fast and great tex mex food. Don't miss it. We had lunch but the breakfast menu looked fine and you could easily stop for dinner.

I walked here from my hotel for breakfast. I was sat right away and my server was super fast and friendly. I order egg and ham and country sausage Takos. They were obviously freshly made and delicious. The server checked on me twice to make sure everything was OK and to see if I needed anything else. I found this... More

Really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. It was a pretty busy time of the year in San Antonio, during Fiesta but they still seated us and served us fairly quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant! The food was excellent if you're looking for authentic Tex-Mex cuisine!

Pete's had the best puffy taco I had while in San Antonio. While not every Tex Mex restaurant has them, I had a few, and Pete's was the best. A warm and friendly atmosphere, great serving staff. A place where the locals eat.

During our trip to San Antonio we had been looking for some really authentic tacos and had been disappointed by most that we had tried until we stumbled upon Pete's Takos. The food was great and so was the service! Our favorites were the chicken fajita and shrimp fajita tacos. Also, they do serve beer and wine, which I wasn't... More

I visited Pete's while in town for the Fiesta (festival). We arrived about 7:45 on a Sunday morning and there was no wait. There is ample free parking at the restaurant. The restaurant is average size with bar seating. The staff was friendly and quick. I ate a barbacoa taco with cilantro, onions and avocado on a corn tortilla and... More

We came here on Friday morning for a quick breakfast. The tacos were very good and we had great service. It was cheap too, so that's always a plus! We came back on Sunday before we headed home, but it was very crowded so we got ours to go. Will definitely come back here next time we are in town!

Since we had a late lunch we were just looking for a simple dinner near downtown - and this fit the bill. House margaritas were excellent (even if blended) and cheap. Food was tasty - enchiladas verde we can recommend. No issues with our toddler, they have high chairs. Staff were friendly and efficient. You pay at the bar after... More

Started brunch with a fantastic horchata. That and the tasty tortia chips were the highlight. Ordered a menudo that came with domino sized pieces of tripa. Way too big. Also, the caldo was nearly tasteless. It appeared to be a powdered mix. Lastly, we ordered two barbacoa tacos. They were giant sized but had no taste. They seem to substitute... More
