Really nice restaurant for a really good meal on the riverwalk. The steaks are cooked to perfection and the venison is perfect. They make a jalapeno infused margarita that is killer and don't forget the sticky toffee pudding for dessert ......mmmmm! We had a very...More

Promptly seated at a table overlooking the "river", we were served by Gabriel, an amazing person. He was so genuinely happy to help you and make your dining experience complete, that you couldn't but enjoy yourself. The wine menu was quite good, and we enjoyed...More

Not typical San Antonio TexMex and more upscale that most spots on the Riverwalk. While the decor is a little tired, the food and service are not. The food is creative and the service is attentive and competent - a rarity for solo female diners...More

This is our favorite place for special occasions or to take visitors. We love Chef Auden's tasting menu where he picks and chooses 5-8 (your choice how many) tastings. You can make requests if you don't like something (like beets!) and he will accommodate your...More

We like this restaurant and this visit was wonderful as was the Antelope with Qual. Highly recommended as it was very flavorful and ended with the Grand Marnier Soufflé. We were seated by the river with the River Taxi sailing bye.

Overlooking a quiet bend of the San Antonio Riverwalk, but within walking distance of all Downtown hotels and the Convention Center, Biga on the Banks highlights the daily changing menu of Chef Bruce Auden, the most frequently James Beard nominated Chef in San Antonio. Menu features seafood, steaks, lamb and wildgame with a preference for local and sustainable product, but do leave room for the Sticky Toffee Pudding. With high Zagat ratings Biga is an ideal venue for a romantic dinner for 2 or has impressive private dining rooms to entertain clients.
