This is an upscale restaurant where casual dress is the rule. The food and service were first class. Our server was extremely helpful with recommendations. There is no rush to get out, which helped as we had lots to talk about. They have a very...More

I really appreciated the host and server being incredibly accommodating to our group. We shared several dishes and the staff was flexible. Loved the duck in the queso fundido and the mexcal cocktail!

Great appetizers, main courses, and service. We ate inside, as the weather was uncertain, but would have eaten outside, A very enjoyable evening!

You must have a reservation to eat at this restaurant. They book out the entire place on reservations so even though there are usually a few open tables, you will not be allowed to wait for a seat. If you want to sit on the...More

Allen Flowers - They are very close, maybe 1/2 mile at most - southeast of La Fonda on McCullogh, which is parallel to Main and a block east.

Give them a call about the puffy tacos! It is not infrequent that something will not be on a menu, but they make it for you! The current owner John Berry (I think son of the founder), is very good. I also second the... More
