Their food is great!! The pizza is all pretty thin crust but it's soooo good and I don't like this crust at all! The cheese pizza tastes real good dipped in ranch. The cheese bread is real good too! Really small place though but they have a patio that you can sit at too.

Yet another great visit - this time with guests and sitting on the patio. We had an excellent experience and the food was superb as always. Additionally, when it got a bit chilly on the patio, the owner immediately came out and started the heaters and we were able to enjoy yet another exquisite meal. The chicken marsala was amazing... In NYC, the smaller the Italian restaurant, the better the experience. That is what compelled me to give the Volare a shot, I was not disappointed. I think it had four tables in the front (there might have been a back room). The atmosphere was pure Manhattan Bistro--the real kind, not the fake ones fashioned after 1940s movies. Real people... Reminds me of tiny places in much larger cities. Very friendly service, BYOB at no corkage charge. Eclectic and good-tasting pies.

Co-workers wanted pizza one evening , but first selection was closed. Searched and found this spot! Great little find. Fresh ingredients and our waitress was very helpful. BYOB though. Would definitely go back.

It doesn't look like much from outside but step in for a great meal. Table for 6, pizza, cheese bread and antipasto salad. The pizza is classic italian, thin, great tasting and fast. Homemade salad dressing, creamy italian recommended, it is delicious. The cheese bread is like no other. I would highly recommend if you are not into chain pizza... More

My wife and I have been searching for decent pizza in San Antonio and before we tried Volare we ate a lot of not-so-great (to put it mildly!) pizza. But Volare's pizza does not disappoint. Good crust and sauce and fresh ingredients help make this the best pizza we've had so far in San Antonio. After our first visit, we... More
