The huevos rancheros was delicious but unfortunately they were short staffed so it was a little slow. The wait staff was working super hard, they just needed more people. But I absolutely loved the tortillas!

Not good. Food or service! I ordered a chalupa and enchilada and the chalupa had loads of beans and hardly any cheese or lettuce or tomatoes. I ate it after scraping most all the beans off and it wasn't good. It's a chalupa, how could you go wrong?! The enchilada looked bad, I was scared to eat it. I took... More

We ordered a steak ranchero that was average, tacos that were delicious, and enchiladas that were the absolute best ever. Friendly and efficient service. Reasonably priced.

These tacos are super big and super fresh. Everything is great on the menu. Even one can fill you up!

Taco Taco used to be wonderful. In fact it was rather famous! But a recent visit was very disappointing. Bummer! Flavorless chiliquiles, cold egg tacos. Sigh. Guess it was my last visit. Sad.

We get to San Antonio two or three times a year. We have always made Taco Taco our 'go to' favorite for breakfast tacos. We discovered recent reviews that were less-than-stellar but decided to visit and do our own assessment of the food and service. Unfortunately, our experience mirrors the recent reviews. Hopefully, these comments will assist the current owners/managers/staff... More

This place was terrible.. Not to mention the level of rudeness that was given to us by a waitress!! Because of a good review years ago and a mentioned on TV this place seems to think that they are awesome well a new floor and a couple of clean tables does not make this place awesome.

After years of trying to get here during their abbreviated hours, we came in expecting great things after hearing from Guy Fieri, Rachel Ray, Alton Brown and local reviews. We ordered a breakfast taco with eggs, beans and chorizo, and the "famous El Norteno". My husband couldn't find much egg and only one small piece of chorizo. The El Norteno,... More

We had breakfast at Taco Taco Cafe today. This tiny restaurant has the best tortillas. Both the flour and the corn tortillas are home made. The waiter was really sweet and treated us really well. He did a great job. You would not go wrong eating breakfast here. But, you better hurry...I think it is only open until 2pm.
