Service was nice and prompt. Food was too small of portions and had too many veggies and not enough meat.

Lunch menu is reasonable, service is adequate-would have liked to have the server refill tea on her own instead of being asked each time. I must say though, they serve the freshest wonton strips that I've had around San Antonio. It does not taste like it's old and have been sitting around for awhile. If the service was just a... More

An old standby for lunch from years ago, this restaurant was always considered an excellent choice for a fairly quick, reasonable priced and delicious lunch. On a recent return visit, I found that it still hits the mark for most categories though the shrimp seemed a little less than fresh this time. I have noticed what could be a trend... More

They have a special wonton soup that is a whole meal by itself.. but I went ahead and had the pork and garlic sauce as well. Left there full and happy. I'll be back. That was some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while. And they deliver so that's a plus in my book.

We have been to Taipei restaurant many times and really enjoyed the early bird special. However, our last visit was bad. There was a foul smell in restaurant that caused us to leave. It seemed like a sewage pipe or something was venting into the place. I hope the management addresses the smell. However, we won't return, which is a... More

Taipei is on a constant rotation of monthly favorites. They provide a great blend of quality and affordability. Taipei is not P F Chang's but it is also not Panda Express. They balance good food with value. The early bird specials are an exceptional value for week day meals. Eat in or take out works great for families on the... More

Came here for lunch and I must admit, the price was outstanding... the lunch specials even include drinks! I honestly can't remember the last time I've ever seen that! To be perfectly candid, with a place names Taipei I had expected Taiwanese so was taken back to discover it was Chinese! Nevertheless, the food was really good, I had the... More

I had lunch here on a recent Saturday afternoon, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the service. I enjoyed a shrimp dish, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked and tasted fresh. The fried rice was wonderful, too- freshly made, and not too salty. The person I was with had a beef dish, and it was...
