Visiting San Antonio from out of state and in the mood for Italian. This one popped up with a decent rating on trip adviser. Menu looked decent. The food was at best subpar. The sauce taste like it was from a can. The salad dressing from a cheap store brand. I will say that our waitress was very friendly and... More

I give two, not one stars because they were friendly. But the food was horible. We went because the reveiws were good and we assumed how could we go wrong but man... $45 dollars wasted. The place was dated, and had water stains on the ceiling and stained/dingy table cloths. They brought out "complementary pizza" to begin. It tasted worse... More

They use the cheapest and most mixed olive oil available, vegetables are not washed properly. Furthermore, there is absolutely nothing Italian about this restaurant. The choices of wine are mostly cheap California wines which they arrogantly sell for $13 a glass. The sauce comes out of a can and terribly acidic and unhealthy. The so-called chef is a Mexican person... More

Went there as a group of 10 to celebrate a milestone birthday. Seven people got their food while three others sat waiting and waiting. Two of the three finally got their food but it was cold. One of the three gave up and cancelled his order all together. Several other people in the party said their food was cold. My... More

Best Italian food in town, best calimari anywhere. This family restaurant is always busy, with good reason. Prices are good, food is excellent. Staff and service like family. You have to eat here. Most meatballs look like golf balls, there's are softballs!! No kidding, there lasagna is almost medicinal, the place is habit forming. My only complaint is all the... More

We've really enjoyed the food/people at this restaurant. They have good wait persons (Dennis is our favorite). They seem make everyone feel special. It's always a relaxing evening when we come for dinner. The food is always excellent. At least we have never (ever ) had a bad experience. The soups are wonderful, the bread warm and tasty. We love... More

Small family owned place, with the red and white squared table cloths and the retro fill, Ordered the lunch special (chicken caccitore that day) and it was very good, had some of my sister's spaghetti and meat balls that was not bad either and we ordered a NY style pizza to the share and it was quite good as well.... We ate here with 2 other couples. The food and service were good. The waiter was able to divide the check in thirds for us. My husband paid with a credit card and I left the tip in cash. I know another couple left their tip in cash, too. When I got home, I noticed that an 18% gratuity was... More

This must be the best kept secret in San Antonio! Little Italy has been here since 83' and I've lived here since 71' and never knew about this place! I'm about to fix that for you guys! You will definitely have the inside edge when you visit SA! This is Italian food like you always knew it could be. They... More
