Had their chile reno and tasted like yesterdays left overs. The cheese crust was hard and burnt. I was never asked what type of tortillas I wanted and i got flour, hate them. The place was very noisy and don't forget to bring your own fly swatter.

The locals suggested as a pace to go. We did based on walkability, but our timing was breakfast. Maybe things would have been better if it were lunch or dinner. Our eggs tasted like chemicals and the tortillas were mushy. Server was very sweet and was very attentive, just not great food

Went on a Saturday morning. Not crowded. Dont know why it wasnt, the place is great. Nice old downtown decor. Maybe slightly trendy but not much. Mix of locals and yuppie types. Food is awesome. Tried breakfast tacos and menudo. Very good. Tortillas are homemade and fluffy. Horchata was good too. Service was excellent. A little noisy but wasnt a... More

Really enjoyable first time experience while visiting San Antonio. Enjoyed late Sunday breakfast. Very busy with short wait causing service to be a little slow. However, server was very cheerful and helpful. Food was very delicious with the flour tortillas being very good. Highly recommend. Am looking forward to returning for full lunch or dinner.

My husband and I went here for the first time this past weekend. We are from San Antonio and have been to lots of Taco places. This one rates up there with the best of them. The tortillas are amazing!!

This place came highly endorsed by one of the locals, especially for breakfast. So we gave it a shot and just as advised, this family-oriented eatery lived up to its rep. There are two locations, we dined at the one on S. Pressa in Southtown, which is maybe a mile or so down from the Riverwalk area. It's fairly large... More

Breakfast was awesome. I always the the Reggie! 2 eggs, papas con chile, barbacoa, beans & quesadilla, all for $7.5. MANN! mouth watering now. The staff is always courteous. 3yrs back Groupon brought us here and we've never looked back. Almost every time we visit San Antonio we make it a point to go there.

Pls note there are two Taco Havens in San Antonio, I assume owned by the same people. This one is in South Presa just south of downtown and is popular with the Courthouse and City Hall crowd at noon on weekdays. I have not visited the other location on South Gevers. This is a bustling place that is decidedly non-touristy... More

My daughter just moved into the area and we saw Taco Haven was a few blocks from her. She and I decided to walk there one evening for dinner! Nice atmosphere and the food was very good! I had the puffy tacos and I loved them!!!
