Ok -- the prices are high but our economy is responsible for that. The restaurant was not very full -- it was a cold day in SA right after Christmas 🎄 I enjoyed my favorite risotto with chicken and sweet potatoes-- very small portion. Ok it 's the economy!! Service was fantastic -- my husband loved his take-out lasagne. If... More

The restaurant was recommended to us while we were at La Cantera Mall. Note that we were there for lunch, so I cannot verify whether the dinner is better. Firstly, the staff were very pleasant. While garlic is an acceptable seasoning (in moderation), it should not overpower any dish. Also, there should be some items on the menu without garlic.... More

This restaurant is a great place for lunch or dinner with friends. The servers are all pleasant and management anxious to please. Located in the La Canterra shopping center, it's a pleasant place to stop and recharge or just have an evening meal with friends. The food is very good. I had one of the combos at lunch with a... Had not been here in a while so visited again. It was very low key early for Happy Hour and seating was not a problem. They have a covered outdoor seating as well. The HH specials are very well priced and very good with a variety of appetizers and drinks. The bartender, Mark, was attentive and personable. After appetizer of... More

Visiting on a Monday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty and staffing was at a minimal. Service was slow, as was the delivery of entrees. I had a Bistecca Insalata and a Tuscan Grilled Pork Chop. The lettuce was a wee bit past its prime, but still edible. The pork chop was prepared with way too much rosemary and was... More

My family and I were visiting, to go to six flags. We were over at the mall and decided to stop in and have lunch. We were wearing casual clothes, but we weren't too under dressed. Our server was Erin, he was very professional and polite. When my wife doesn't like her salad, he took care of it.

Brio's and its prior namesake Bravo's used to be a favorite place to eat. Now, we rarely if ever go there. Since it wasn't crowded and we were starving for dinner the other night, we decided to give Brio's another chance. We found the menu had shrunk even further. Only one side came with the entrees when you used to... More

We visited the day after Christmas with family. Although the room was not full at lunch, we had to wait a few minutes for a table. The waitress told our table and the one next to us that since the restaurant was closed yesterday (Christmas), all of their food had spoiled. I really didn't want to hear that all of... More

To start off with, we are not from San Antonio. My son graduated from UTSA this particular weekend. We were suddenly presented with the problem of needing a reservation for 16 on a Friday night a week from graduation, so Brio was not my first choice. Brio was empty enough to accommodate the reservation. Following the honors graduation ceremony we... More

Usually my expectations are lower for a restaurant located next to a shopping mall but I was pleasantly surprised by this establishment from the minute I walked in the door. The decor is unusual and interesting to look at. The wait staff arrived immediately at our table, were attentive and pleasant. The menu has very interesting options - we visited... More
