Went to lunch with my family and had a very good Steak and enchilada plate. Cooked just right, chile could be a little hotter, but ok. Staff always friendly.

We visited Cafe Castro based on the recommendation of some Colorado tourists. The service and the food was excellent! The flavor was fresh and delicious. The green chili was just the right amount of spicy. As a vegetarian, I had enough choices as well. And...More

Such good food! Everything we ate was fresh, tasty and beautiful. Deliciously seasoned without being just spicy hot. People were nice and helpful. 2 thumbs up!!

We showed up at 8:30, weary from traffic, and they close at 9:00, but we were welcomed and given excellent service. They even made me an extra sopapilla after the first one vanished way too fast! Nice people, delicious platas, plus nice ala carte selections...More

There are not many places in Santa Fe where you can easily bring a large group and expect good service. We were a party of 10 and were waited on as quickly, courteously and correctly as a party of two. The Castro is nicely decorated,...More

We've eaten lunch at Casto's many times, and never been disappointed. The staff is professional and attentive, and always able to meet our gluten free needs. Great rolled enchiladas.

We've found our new favorite New Mexican/Mexican restaurant: Cafe Castro. The only problem is that it's six hours from our house so we'll only be able to eat there when we visit Santa Fe again – and we definitely will. We liked it so much...More

Although Santa Fe is much more for a "pet friendly" Town, any establishment that either serves or sells Food Items, only "service animals" are allowed. Sorry, I travel with my dog which is well behaved but .... Also, Cafe... More
