We read many reviews of this restaurant and were so surprised at how mediocre and wierd tastinfg the food was. We came early to partake of the half priced appetizers and entrees. The staff could not have been nicer. We started w a salad wh was a bunch of wet greens and tasteless tomatoes. It was full priced at 10$... More

This place is a true gem in Santa Fe's star-studded lineup. I always go with the daily menu, which is fantastically crafted by the resident chef. During my last visit, I learned I liked eating things I wouldn't normally even taste. Must visit.

I'm a Santa Fe resident and have visited this restaurant probably 10 times over 10 years. Some of those visits were good, others not so much. This last visit was not good at all and will be literally my last. I ordered the duck breast milanese. I love veal milanese and like duck..so sounds like a unique combination. The problem...the... This restaurant was close to our hotel. The food is excellent. We each had our own salads and shared a pasta. Waitstaff was attentive.

This place was highly recommended to us and we had read good ratings about it. The locale is not particularly attractive; and is rather dark and noisy - perhaps because of the chatter of happy customers. We ordered salads to start, which were pretty good, but bread and butter ( both excellent ) were charged extra cost. The wine -... More

Great for Happy Hour when practically everything is half price. Otherwise very expensive for the portion size. I had a nice little salad, four small pumpkin ravioli, bread, and a glass of Prosecco for $20. The service was good and the interior pleasant.

Visited Santa Fe for the first time and a local friend recommended this restaurant. We had terrific meals: chicken, butternut squash pasta with arugula and trout wrapped in prosciutto. All received rave reviews. No bread offered, service was fine... a bit pricey. Lovely atmosphere and an easy walk from our hotel, The Inn on Alameda.

Was sorely disappointed when we ate at Il Piatto, portion sizes were small, food wasn't the best, service was poor and nobody seemed to know anything about the wine list. The worst restaurant we visited during our time in Santa Fe.

We had not heard of this restaurant before we visited Santa Fe. Now we shout its name to all who will listen.. You cannot go wrong. Scrumptious dishes served in generous helpings. Top notch service!

We visited Il Piatto for happy hour and a light dinner. Wines by the glass and appetizers were half price. Small entree portions were also available during the 4-6 Happy Hour. Our server was great as we had arrived about 10 minutes before the end of Happy Hour and she wanted us to be able to take advantage of the... More
