We eat here several times each summer and always love it. Their margaritas are incredible. So are their enchiladas. We prefer the food to the Shed, which has the same owners. Its more off the beaten path, but worth it.

We did not make a reservations so we had to wait close to an hour. We are from Texas so Mexican food is a little different in Texas. The tortilla chips are below average but the guacamole dip was amazing! The food was average but...More

Ok, the wait sucks. I couldn't get reservations, and there was even a waiting list to sit at the bar! (Saturday at 8pm). The food was REALLY good. I used to live in New Mexico, and most of the people eating here are locals, not...More

This appeared to be a local favorite as it was crowded. If we had not made reservations We would have had at least a one hour wait. Personally, I would not come back. It was quite pricey and the food was, at best, mediocre.

Love the restaurant, and the food, reasonably priced and my Chili Rellenos were incredible. My only complaint is that the bill for our margaritas was almost as high as our dinner meal. and we only and one margarita each.

We have frequented Santa Fe for years, always eating at the more remote "locals" spots in town. Having stayed away from the sister restaurant (The Shed - which translates to La Choza, in Spanish - clever thinkers!) of this for years, due to thinking it...More

Whether for lunch or dinner this is where a feast is enjoyed in a fantastic setting. The burritos, enchilados, possole, tacos are adictive! Green chili, red chili ... GO CHRISTMAS! Have fresh-made warm sopapillas with honey for desert! Wait, be patient, have a house-margharita, be...More

Visiting Sant Fe we asked our hotel proprietor to suggest some restaurants - this was one of them. Then in town we asked a shop assistant where to eat - and she said La Choza. We were not disappointed! Great experience all round.

Not sure about gluten free options but I would ask a service person. Average dinner price $15 to $30.
