Apparently this place used to be very good. We only ate here for lunch because we were in the neighborhood and the place we wanted to eat wasn't open. Our server was punctual, but it took forever to get our food and when it arrived it was cold. We asked her to pop it in the microwave to reheat and... More

Went to the restaurant based on the reviews. Place only half full but had to wait to be seated. Waiter very slow and seemed more interested in the good looking mom. He had too many tables.

First off, the food was excellent. I had the Juevos Rancheros with black beans and green chili sauce and my son had the Juevos Rancheros with red beans and red chili. I couldn't be happier. The staff seemed to meander around. No one asked if I wanted more coffee. When I finally got a refill it tasted terrible. The random... More

Decided to re-visit Tortilla Flats while I was in that section of town and it has been a while since my last visit. It is really going down-hill. My beef burrito was full of grizzle and cold in the center. My wife's sunny-side-up huevos rancheros was overcooked and the yolk was solid. No going back there again.

My friend and I enjoyed breakfast at Tortilla Flats in Santa Fe. Its outside the Plaza area, but a great place to go without any wait. I had traditional Huevos Rancheros and my friend had a more traditional omelet. My Huevos Rancheros were great. An entire plate. On the bottom were the tortillas, then refried beans, then the fried eggs... More

I went to Tortilla Flats because it's supposed to be where the locals eat. I had once lived in the Santa Fe area and had somehow missed it so I wanted to see if it lived up to its hype. I ordered the bean and chorizo burrito with red chile, thinking it would be a basic item they would either... More

We go to the Flying Tortilla often because it has a pleasant ambiance, very good servers, and a good northern New Mexico menu (though we just go for breakfast). Something we really like is that if you want to order something off the posted menu, you can. For example at our last visit my spouse ordered a quesdilla, normally only... More

We live in Albuquerque but if we find ourselves in Santa Fe at a meal time we have for many years gone to Tortilla Flats. It had been probably about a year since we ate there and in my opinion the quality has declined. I had tamales and the pork was dry, my wife had beef fajitas and said the... More

Food diverse and was ok. Could have been hotter; probably sat a bit. But a definite feeling of being rushed out but there was not anyone waiting? If you sell desserts then Ask the customer and esp since you have a variety of coffee. Don't just drop check. Doesn't everyone have leftovers these days--it doesn't mean no dessert. And finally...
