First and foremost you better get a reservation. We were there mid week and people were waiting outside for a table. Tables are rather close together but not so you are rubbing elbows. Service is very prompt and a table will be cleared and reset...More

Easy to find, with free parking on Sunday in the area. Nice happy hour menu, with decent prices for beer and wine. Our waiter was quite restrained, but his second had a great sense of humor.

The food was very good and service was impeccable! We had paella, pork belly, wine. A little pricey though. The restaurant was tiny.

Great food, good service and very reasonable prices. Good wine and beer selection (pretty sure its beer and wine only). Lively atmosphere with live music, boisterous space. Highly recommend.

Spanish type eating. Food was great. Prices were reasonable. Our waiter was the best - ask for Clayton! Bacon wrapped dates were great as was the flat steak.

The food is delicious and provides a welcome change from the Southwestern and Italian fare offered at so many other Santa Fe restaurants. The food is reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. We liked the restaurant so much that we returned for a second...More

La Boca means "the mouth" in Spanish, and that's where they focus their attention at this attractive little tapas box a block from the plaza. With Andalusian guitar music wafting from the rafters, I was transported, as if by a magic carpet, to Spain. Though...More

We had our best dinner here!! The food was flavorful and prepared with much attention to detail. The shared plates make eating more fun. The service was excellent.

Creative food. The chef is really top notch. You need to order a lot of tapas to fill up. Never disappointed, yet be prepared to spend some serious money.

As a former server, I really appreciate when a restaurant does things rights, and this one absolutely does! Every dish was delicious (we especially loved the bacon wrapped dates). Our server was attentive and professional and suggested excellent wine pairings, and the staff worked together...More

I don't know about the tasting menu, we had dinner there once in May and it was wonderful. I don't think you can go wrong here. Make sure you have a reservation.

Description
Opened in 2006 by 8 time James Beard Award Nominee, Chef James Campbell Caruso.
La Boca has the feel of a lively European wine bar, featuring an extensive selection of carefully chosen Mediterranean and South American wines. Knowledgeable and animated staff graciously guide customers to the perfect wine to complement their meals. La Boca also prides itself on being an ambassador of Spanish sherry culture, transporting its guests to Cadiz in the crisp cool flavors of Fino, or the deep fig-essence of a Pedro Ximenez.
Full to capacity almost every night since its opening, La Boca has been a hit with both locals and the world travelers that visit Santa Fe. La Boca has earned numerous awards both local and national, including the Santa Fe Reporter’s “Restaurant of the Year,” and the International Wine and Food Society’s “Award of Excellence.”
