To fortify ourselves before visiting the Luray Caverns, we were searching for a restaurant in Luray. The obvious Subway or Mac Donald’s or both were there, but I wanted something better. The Mexican Grill came first, and we even weren't sure, that there'll be any other ones. This Mexican turned out to be a very nice restaurant. Not as over-decorated... More

We were in the area, so we decided to go to Rancho Viejo after it was recommended to us. We were told to tell them it's your birthday and see what they do. DON'T DO IT!! They put a community sombrero on your head and sing something that's supposed to be Happy Birthday. We couldn't tell because they sang in... More

The night we had dinner it was average at best. My meal was not even warm and the burritos were minus average. Not a place we will return.

Coming into Luray from the north on US 211 (E Main St.) there is a Peebles store in a shopping center on your left with this Rancho Viejo Mexican restaurant on your right. Maybe it was a coincidence but the free welcome plate of nachos were still warm from the oven and they came with the standard chili sauce plus... More

When this place opened, several years ago, the service was excellent. Plenty of drink refills, extra napkins, a full bowl of chips with refills. Not anymore, the chip basket is half the size it used to be, & you have to nearly bag for drink refills. I think these are ways of saving money. Still tastes good, but they need... More

We had the $16.99 Dinner for Two. It was a sampler of six or seven different Mexican entrees, so both of us had a taste of each thing. I liked some things better than others, but it was a good way to taste a variety of foods. The waitress was friendly and quick.

The exterior needs a little updating but the inside was very nice. Comfortable booths and a super cute patio area. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We got steak tacos and a side of black beans that was enormous. The large beers were only a little over four dollars. We had a great time and it was a nice... More

From the start the food, staff and cleanliness was not good. I watched for ten minutes after being seated people who came in after us get drinks. The salsa was basically canned tomatoes with cilantro and the white sauce is just ranch, oh did I forget to mention that even the chips were bland. No seasoning was used on any... More

Nothing special. Nice outdoor seating area if not too hot. Have made some improvements since other Mexican restaurant in town closed. Plenty of parking. Easy to find.
