Really looked like a cool place to eat and because of Cruise Ships it was busy. After asking took a chance on the Lobster Macaroni Dish, Soupy tasteless mess- 2 bites was all I could stomach (and I was hungry), wife tried and spit it out. Wife offered me her prime rib sandwich. Thin slices of prime rib left to... More

We ate dinner twice at the Raven (likely better known as the Westmark hotel) restaurant. First of all, Sitka is weak in dinner choices with plenty of places featuring burgers and deep fat fried fish. We all must also recognize that there is major seasonal factor in the dining demand with the need for a huge increase in waitstaff in... More

First meal in Alaska, after a long trip from east coast. Earlier arrivals had eaten here the night before and had a good experience so a bunch of us had a late lunch. Nice outside seating but rain started so moved inside to the bar area. Service was fine, Alaska beer was great, I had one of the best Cobb... More

Our group of 5 had to wait almost 10 minutes to be seated even though there were numerous empty tables, then it took another 20 minutes to get our first drink and that was only because one of us went to the bar to order the round. Another 20 minutes and we got menus, and another 25 before our appetizers... More

We had breakfast here the 2 mornings we were there; both times were very good. Food selection is pretty ordinary -- except for the specialty potatoes -- but very good. Service is fine; most of the tables have a view to the street, so people watching is fun. Like the hotel, the room is a bit worn down, but hey,... More

This restaurant is everything that you would expect from the Westmark. The staff are extremely attentive, and the food is very, very good. If you're a terrestrial carnivore, you might not find much to eat here (aside from the obligatory steaks); however, if your seafood lover you will find a lot of local offerings on the menu. I left feeling... More

Only had breakfast at this Westmark Hotel dining room. Food was OK. Even thought the waitress had no idea what basted eggs were, my companion's breakfast was good and well cooked. I opted for scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Not so good. Eggs ere fine but salmon was very fishy and not fresh. We live by the ocean, so I... More

Overall we enjoyed our meal here. The prices were a bit steep (which isn't surprising for a restaurant attached to a hotel) and service was a bit slow. The food was good and sitting out on the deck enjoying our last night in Alaska was enjoyable. The mozzarella sticks we got as an appetizer were humungous and tasty!

Please don't be fooled by the nice view the patio offers. The salmon was very overpriced, bland and dry. We had a very long wait for a table. Our worst meal in Alaska. The clam chowder is "World Famous". I forgot to ask what it was "World famous" for. Save your money

Five of us enjoyed dinner at the Raven Dining Room this evening. The martinis were great. The bread was warm with a great crust. We tried three starters, the scallops, the halibut bites and the evening special Alaskan oysters. All three were yummy. For dinner we had king crab legs, halibut, salmon and filet. Again, delicious. The sweet potato fries... More
