Husband had roast beef. I had grilled ham and cheese. Food was great. Service was outstanding. Ambience was awesome! Felt like we had stepped back in time to the late 50's/early 60's. Definitely would recommend this one!

My husband and I ate here because our truck was being repaired at BigO Tires across the street (Route 66), and the employees recommended it. We are so happy we found this restaurant! It was very busy with local customers having lunch. Our server told us this restaurant has been family-owned and operated since 1952. The parents passed the restaurant... More

Stopped by for lunch, very good hamburgers. Wife had grilled ham and cheese, which was delicious. Fries were also outstanding. Great atmosphere and down home ambience.

looking for a home style diner? Miz Zips on Route 66 offers simple meals and the best homemade pies in the West! Thursday is Banana Cream! yum. The wait staff is very friendly and the food is always fresh. They even butcher their own beef..so you know the hamburgers are tasty.

We ate here with the whole family 5 Adults and 3 children and the bill was $59.60 what the heck the food was basic but good for burgers, club sandwiches and meals. Nothing fancy but the restaurant does have a history. Would recommend on a budget.

We try to find a café with history and ambiance in each city we visit. Miz Zip's is the classic Americana 50's Café with history and good food at a reasonable price. (btw, they don't accept plastic). It's the real thing with pictures and antiques collected over the past 50+ years.

Passing through and stumbled on miz zips which was perfect! Warm atmosphere, friendly staff, good simple food. Looking at the various decorations shows that this is a longstanding restaurant with good community ties. We were happy to support a local business and had a great time joking and chatting with staff.
