So since long time I was looking for an india restaurant in Buffalo. I heard about Jewel of India. We went with my friends. Omg we dont regret ! A nice Sunday night having a great dinner. Best lamb Vindaloo I have tasted. Go for the flavors and aromas. Great vegetarian menu as well, my wife had Options Overload and loved her Matar Pander. The home made pickles are great but watch the green pickles as it hot pepper.

This is one of the good Indian restaurants in Buffalo area. Food is pretty decent and ambiance is very good. There is a free parking for restaurant customers.

Excellent! Whether off the menu or from the buffet, this is consistently the best South Asian dining that I have enjoyed in Buffalo or elsewhere. A wide range of selections is available from a variety of styles, each with its own merit. The staff is low key, friendly and professional; the service is very attentive without being overwhelming. The facility... More

We are from Seattle, WA and were visiting Niagara Falls when we decided to venture into NY to eat dinner. We found this "jewel" that got great reviews. We walked into a friendly, comfortable, and clean restaurant. Our server was nice, helpful with the menu, and appropriately friendly. I would guess that based on what we got and what I... More

My daughter and her friend were pleased to discover a great Indian restaurant that has a plethora of vegetarian options and has a peaceful ambience. We have eaten dinner a few times now and find the food to always be of consistent quality. The buffet is equally good and runs Tuesdays-Fridays from 11:30-2:30. Their chai tea is delicious-- sweet, warm,... More

We had beef curry, chicken biryani, naan, a vegetarian dish with cauliflower, potato and lots of cummin, and heavenly chicken with sauce and cashews! All was delicious, tender, and spiced as ordered. Atmosphere was very nice and the service was efficient, friendly and accurate.

I have eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants and this is the best. Chef Jesse makes the best chicken tikka. It is moist and delicious. Service is good. Plenty of free parking in their lot. I am surprise it is not busier.

When the Star of India changed ownership, my family and I were so disappointed to lose the restaurant we had been regularly visiting for perhaps the last ten years. Much to our surprise, when we tried Jewel of India, out from the kitchen walked the chef from Star. Once again, we are able to enjoy old favorites like veggie samosas... More
