Took a ride up to Buffalo for a concert at the Town Ballroom and was looking for something other than the "wings" thing. Turned out Bijou was a few doors down from the venue and an excellent find. Restaurant serves as a fine dining experience or a place to hang out before a show - can go casual or dressy,... More

My first time at Bijou was this past week before a show at Shea's. I would highly recommend reservations - my mom and I walked in on a whim and got lucky as a table had just opened up. The staff is aware most of their patrons on show nights are heading across the street to Shea's and do a... More

Best location to eat if you are attending a show at Sheas or the Trelf...it's literally across the street. Make reservations if there is a show cuz the place fills up fast!! Great cocktail list, a little pricey for the little glasses but delicious. I had the pear martini. Wine price is about average 8 bucks a glass. Didn't stop... More

A perfect location for dinner before a show at Sheas. We had chicken fingers - ordered hot, they were at best medium and kind of blah. We also had a Chicken sandwich with provolone cheese. The chicken was cooked perfectly but the sandwich itself was pretty lack luster. Best part of the night was dessert! We split the apple dumpling... More

Our granddaughter was singing at the Shea Theater in a performance of "The Nutcracker" with a 7:00 pm start. Too early for a before show meal, so we decided to have something light after the show. Two granddaughters, our daughter and son-in-law, my wife and myself headed here, which is right across the street from the Shea Theater. We were... More

My friend and I went to Bijou last evening before seeing a show at Sheas theater. We did have a 5:30 reservation. We were greeted immediately and had our drink quickly. Our waitress Michelle was awesome. My friend had the turkey soup which she said was delicious. We both decided on a pasta dish that we enjoyed very much along... More

It was Sunday night during the Canadian Thanksgiving long weekend, and the boarder getting across to Canada was packed. We just finishing up some shopping and didn't want to wait an hour to cross, so we decided to go into the city and have some dinner and wait it out. We chose the theater district in downtown Buffalo to find... More

Went for the first time before a play at 710 Main. Had the Chicken parmesian. Chicken cutlets coated with a light breading and I think Santiago cheese. Panned fried perfect. Served over spaghetti and a light amount of sauce. Delicious. There was a plate of Italian baguette bread and oil for dipping. Only wished there was a dinner salad included.... More

We eat and drink at the bar. This review is NOT for table service but it is for food, beverage, and bar service. The bartender with the bowtie makes out-of-this world craft cocktails. And not the hipster kind--real classic cocktails! Onto the food. Pasta with capers and eggplant: excellent. Soups: homemade. Salads: great deal for lunch, very large and fresh.... More
