This is my favorite go to restaurant. They have a few locations all food is made the same at each location, but the one on Hertel Ave is my favorite. This is authentic Italian home made food. Save room for dessert...its worth it :)

Just got back from a delicious lunch at Romeo's. My lunch included a bowl of Tuscano soup, a Raffello panini, and a cannoli - all for under $12 - and everything was delicious! The service was excellent.- highly recommended - you can't go wrong!

As middle class family several times you skip the dessert because the budget, well just find out that you don't have to in this place, again when you walk in seems like a bakery, then you turn around and voila here is the restaurant! Nice people, great Piza (thin crust off course), and all the Italian goodies. Everything for a... More

We were looking for a nice sidewalk cafe and headed to the little Italy area while visiting Buffalo, NY. This quaint restaurant had out door seating in addition to their indoor dining. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious!

I think that everything here is good! Salads are delicious and huge (You could easily split one between two to four people). The pizzas are heavenly! Service is great. It's a very charming little place.

Finding entrance: VERY confusing, as the actual entrance is under one of the two red awnings separated by doors (which must go to apartments above). Atmosphere: In the dining area, very nice; good decor, neutral and warm colors. Staff: very very friendly and accommodating. Accessibility: All one level from sidewalk. Didn't check out the bathrooms, sorry! Food: great dessert selection... More

R&Js is one of my favorite places in Buffalo! If you want panini, go for the Raffaello and ask for a side basil mayo. It is huge, very filling, the bread is ridiculous and so tasty you will want to eat it all! Also they serve them in the shape of a heart - an adorable touch given that you... More

Neopolitan and Chocolate Eclair were not very good. The pastry was heavy and sticky, and the whipped cream was artificial. I would not order them again.

My daughter graduated from Daemen College. We went to move her out of her apartment & stopped for lunch. It was perfect. 4 of us had a completely satisfying meal.

I've been coming to R&J since they first opened. Vito and Susan have come a long way since they first opened in a tiny little spot on Hertel. They've relocated down the street in a place they've made their own and the food is wonderful. Their pizzas, panini, salads, pasta, desserts....all are amazing. Their pizza crust is delicate and thin... More
