When visiting Newport, we met friends and ate lunch out in the sunshine. That was a great start, but to my disappointment, no fish 'n chips appeared on the menu. Two of our group ordered two different varieties of baked fish which was delicious, but...More

Awesome spot! Love the patio on a beautiful Fall day. I had the chicken salad salad and it was wonderful! I had their Honey mustard dressing, which was the best I ever had!

This restaurant was pretty small and very noisy. There is a large patio area and we would opt to sit there if the weather is nice. The service was a little slow but the food was pretty good. The location is great.

Black Pearl is the perfect lunch stop while tooling around the Newport waterfront. We were told their clam chowder was the best in Newport, and it certainly hit the spot on a cold November Saturday. The lobster salad was also terrific.

I thought this may be a tourist trap with crappy food. I was so wrong! The food here was delicious. Best clam chowder I've ever had. The corn beef Rueben was perfect and I loved the special Thai lobster fish cakes.

It's my understanding that the Tavern side is open for lunch and dinner, but the Commodore's Room only has dinner hours.
