We had lunch at The Black Pearl on December 9, 2016 and found it noisy, ordinary and over priced. We had the Grilled Reuben which was just OK and also clam chowder that was clearly too salty. I requested a substitute of a side salad with my Reuben to replace the French fries that I did not want. To do... More

Stopped for a meal with a group of friends. Although the restaurant was packed we managed to get a table, although it was a little cramped. Staff were friendly with great service. The meal was superb. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a seafood meal.

I have going to the Pearl for many years, it has always been popular and sometimes crowded, but now it's all a bit crazy. The waitresses run around like headless chickens, regularly getting orders mixed up and outside of their clam chouder the menu is poor and expensive.

Not impressed!!! A bunch of young girls running the place, eating in there stations. On cell phones. Haven't seen management around at all. Came in with my family. Husband ordered a rare burger came out well done. After we waited 10 minutes and flagged done a waitress to have burger redone. It took another 1/2 hour to cook a rare... More

The quality of the food and service is very good. It's in a busy location so a reservation is a good idea.

We ate in the "bar" area, which was a little easier to get seating.. It was a nice place, with a charming atmosphere. Not a lot of tables there, but we were seated right away. We had heard the clam chowder was tops, so of course we tried it. I really liked it! I had a special seafood sandwich, that... More

Had clam chowder, of course, and their special wagyu beef burger. We usually get the lobster salad which is incredible. Delicious!!!

This is a bustling place with a warm friendly vibe. The wait can be a while. I can't imagine what it's like in the summer. Good beers, good food, friendly wait staff. Order a bowl of fresh mussels in white wine sauce. It's enough for two. The broth is a great bowl of soup and the dunked bread delicious. Go... More

Wife loves fresh lobster, so here we come. She was not disappointed as her 1 1/2 lb. critter was a solid follow-up to the wonderful clam chowder. Her night was perfect. My popcorn shrimp was a huge helping of lightly breaded critters cooked in a butter sauce. Alcohol prices were fair. One fault that can't be fixed is the noise... More
