We have been here before for lunch, but this time dinner. Excellent choices -- I had the swordfish which was prepared excellently. We also hade the Hake which was not disappointing.

I've been here a couple of times and, crowded or not, the staff has always been pleasant and willing to go above and beyond. Most recently, I was with a group of out of towners who had never had "stuffies." I asked if the kitchen would make this normally lunch dish special for them and they were more than happy... More

Nice place with good atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had some live music the night we were there. The menu was extensive and had lots of seafood options. A raw bar had some really good oysters from local creeks. Mains (swordfish and mussels) were good size and tasteful. However, we had some sand in the mussels. Would recommend... More

Visited at lunch time on a weekday and the place had just opened so it was quiet. The ambience and decor was lovely. Our waiter was polite, but not friendly. Nothing was wrong with our food, it was decent, but not what you would expect for the prices. The pics are of the blackened salmon and the rice bowl salad... More

We were enjoying our first trip to Newport ( with winter storm Stella) and saw this place as we were eating lunch across the road. We went back the next day and ordered lunch. The fried oyster roll came out and our first thought was how to unhinge our jaws. Easily done - it was so fresh and light that... More

This restaurant was very good. Pub part was very busy as well as the restaurant side. Food was hot and very well portioned. Service was excellent. Very crowded for the off season.

Fish and chips were good and flavorful for the price and my wife had a nice salad with grilled chicken although the dressing was bland and not enough she fixed it up with oil and balsamic vinegar. It was overall okay but no reason to go back for another meal with so many other options.

Went here as it was recommended by a local B&B. The restaurant is noisy as hell. The service was standard with high prices and the food was very disappointing. I had the Rhode Island chowder which was a tan color instead of a clear broth. The taste was just okay. I got the octopus and it was overcooked and the... More

The restaurant itself was beautiful. Seafood was fresh and we even tried to copycat one of the rice dishes at home. Great for families.
